Hey guys, I see where people have updated the 19-21 Stinger tail lights to the new LED light bar style. Stupid question, but has anyone converted the new style to old? Definitely been considering it and think the older style looks much better.

Welcome. I don't see why it couldn't be done. I bet somebody would be happy to do a trade with you. Those older lights have a real Maserati feel to them...

I still haven't been able to install the 2022 lights on my 2020. I have the light bar and wanna go KDM sequential. The videos on YouTube make it look like it's super easy. And maybe it is on some cars. I've hacked the hell outta the back of my car drilling holes, light bar still won't set in nice like the stock tails. Removed the pegs from the 2022 light bar, still won't fit properly. I was hoping to sell the tail lights from my 2020 to help fund the 2022 sequential ones but idk. At this rate I may have to post the light bar or try to sell it on eBay.
For me, the 18-21 lights look better when on but I absolutely hate how they look when off. I've said it before, the middle piece that looks like a 3rd brake light but does nothing was an odd design choice. Also, when not lit, it looks very similar to the Dodge Charger.

Nope. I bought a used light bar from eBay but it was in very good shape. Idk if it's slightly bent or if something is off with my car or what. Very annoyed that I haven't been able to get it to fit. Should not be this hard.

I didn't buy the sequential turn signals yet because I haven't been able to get the light bar to fit. Those are spendy, no point in buying them if I can't get the light bar in.
The 18-21 tails are concave, the 22 is convex, doesn't look right mixing them. I'm not even talking about the light pattern, I mean the design of the taillight housing. The light bar sticks out further then the turn signals. Or if you just wanted to swap in the 22 turn signals and leave the 18-21 middle piece, the turn signals would be sticking out further than the middle piece would.

Yeah it’s def not supposed to be sticking out that much. You drilled the piss out of the holes yeah? I had to kinda flex the middle bar in there, and it finally slid in. What part of the light bar is resisting going in?

The middle goes in but when you tighten the light bar down, the bottom part of the light on both sides wants to lift up. The first pic I posted with the lights off, if you zoom in you can see the big gaps between the bottom of the light and the body. Idk what to make of it.

Yeah i just drilled the holes much bigger so the light bar would fit in the groove. Once I ground the red pegs down, like all the way down, then I had a good much better Fitment. I also cranked the bolts down on there so it wouldn’t try to pop back up.
