• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Intercooler upgrade warning AUS delivered Stingers

For me personally the Mishi does exactly what it is suppose to do. @General_Vodka was the one that swayed my decision to bite the bullet on the Mishi intercooler. In terms of weight it’s not anything that will effect everyday driving and cornering. You will feel the slight difference when it is first installed but after you realize the weight is minimal and it’s not going to effect your confidence what so ever when cornering.

In terms of power you would have to ask the other members on this forum. Does it help with the heatwave we having in SoCal right now? Absolutely. Are the IAT temps being kept low? Yes. Have I regret my purchase? Absolutely not. I actually floored it twice during the heatwave and there was no drop in power. Regardless idk the little details like a lot members here about the pros and cons. But just know I have noticed power difference since it’s been installed.
Thank you the quick reply. Exactly what I was curious about. Like you had GeneralVodka I have you to thank for biting the bullet.

I was just looking at the Tuscancustoms for the left and right rear sequential tail lights. So now I have to decide, Power or esthetics. first world problem iguess.

What setting do you have your sway bars at? Soft or hard? Just wondering if there is a setting that would be better for adding the Mishi. I’m gonna go ahead and order it today.

If I am not mistaken I have mines on the soft setting. The sways was literally like one of the first mods I put on the car. I am curious if anyone has them on the hard setting. I never really dove into the forums to see if they should be switched after installing the FMIC.

I have the BMS intercooler, also pretty heavy, and I run the sways on stiff, front and rear. Love it. Had the sways on prior to the intercooler. Yes it adds some weight, but nothing I really noticed at all. I wouldn't worry about it.

so i wonder if the us cars (mine) that does not have the extra braces on them will mitigate the weight difference a bit between the 2 ?
i just got the vr intercooler delivered , then came upon this thread .
