Hello. I am just curious to know if anyone has had any issues with their Turbo. ours has completely failed and the oil feed tubes needs to be replaced as well. 30,000 miles. Not to mention the communication issues with the dealership and them finding the issue. It took the dealership 2 weeks to find the problem. I have been without a car for 2 weeks I had to call corporate and open up a case because of the miscommunication issues and rental problems I have had. Behind done with Kia in general.

Howdy and welcome. Turbos have failed, but not commonly. Hopefully yours will be back on line after this. Good luck with Kia Corp., it's a hit and miss proposition. "When they are good, they are very, very good, but when they are bad, they are horrid." (like the little girl, with a little curl, right in the middle of her forehead)

As Merlin says, turbo failures are uncommon but issues with dealers and Kia corporate are not. Most owners hold their breath that nothing bad happens needing the dealer or Kia corp. I'm doing all the service I can sans dealer and will only be going if something major fails.

Premium service requires paying the premium, and you get exactly what you pay for with Kia right now. Some Stinger owners have even fled back to BMW and Lexus to regain that level of customer service.

...and the oil line? Did the oil line leak from the factory? Crimped and not supplying oil? There is more to this story - pull the thread. Ask for the old line..

I got my G from what used to be known as Fields Infiniti in Glencoe. Among various amenities they have a staffed breakfast/lunchbar offering complementary foods items such as omletes or sandwiches made to order if you're a customer or having vehicle serviced.

Today they no longer sell infiniti but are now a Mini dealer.

Kia has a looooooooooooooooooooooong way to meet this standard.

Kia does not seem interested in pursuing this standard. They are, however, interested in charging as much as they can for their vehicles in hopes the buyer thinks they're of that standard.

That strategy did not work so well for Cadillac!

Wait, isn't genesis supposed to be of that standard?? The local genesis dealer is also a hyundai, so I don't think so. No breakfast bar there either.

What's with the breakfast bar? I want the dealer/service experience to take care of my car, not coddle me. "My" dealer/service experience, going into five years, has not produced one negative. Lucky me. :)

Thinking back, the local Buick dealer here in Vegas offered continental breakfast until Covid hit. Post Covid, even stale donuts and decent coffee vanished. Funny how the customer is priority #1 until the dealer's wallet gets pinched.

The local Genesis dealer here is also a Hyundai dealer, or at least the service dept overlaps. There's coffee, and bad cable TV programming.

Hah. It was a first for me. Never been in a dealer before with a breakfast/lunch bar.

Over the years did they a bit of warranty work. All done well and no issues. Tech even asked me to drive the car after alignment to be sure I was satisfied. The kia dealer who recently did mine did not. Steering wheel cocked slightly...
