Hello guys! My roommate and I wanted to race his Camaro vs my AWD Stinger for a long time now. We have raced multiple times but I have lost every time so far. I have been doing research on the stop lamp fuse pull and decided to give it a try. My stinger is in map 2 running E30 mix with intakes and the stop lamp fuse pull. This is the second launch I have done with the fuse pulled and I am amazed at how hard it launches, enough to do spin all 4 tires. I had him about 1.5 car lengths and then at about 90 mph he started catching up a little.

Also that is my other buddy in the Camaro on the side of the road making sure no cars were in site.

if your running e30 why not run map 4 or even 5 for the runs?

Well I know the gas by me has some quality issues. I always check the logs to see how my timing is and today I was pulling about 3.0 degrees in map 3. I decided to just run map 2 just to be safe. The E30 is a guestimate, I just took 5 gal of e85 and then topped the tank with 91 non eth. I also have never gone above map 3. I want the car to last me and fooling around once in a while isn't going to hurt anything. Hopefully.

What gas station? Try shell v power

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
The camaro is stock. As for gas stations its pretty limited. Ill try the one shell thats in my town. Maybe it has decent 91. I don't think it has E85.
fill 3/4 of the tank with 91 or 93 if you can find it then drive to the e85 and fill it with 4 to 5 gallons... shell is usually always significantly better i ONLY run shell gas...

I used to run BP 93 gas but I'll agree Shell V power 93 is so much better.

I have never been able to keep up with the Camaro, 0-60 is 4.0 sec which I can confirm we have hit that although on normally its more like 4.5 sec. The stinger best stock 0-60 I have ever recorded was 4.8 and I normally am running 5.3. The stock stinger never had enough hp to catch up at speed as the Camaro has about 100 more hp stock. To me, adding the JB4 and doing a brake boost is crazy to be able to beat the Camaro by as much as it was beating me before.

How well does your car stack up to the Camaro from a roll?

Stock 1/4 mile is ~12.4 for the SS?

People with jb4 have been all over the 11s in the Stinger + meth and/or E30 and/or boltons. I.e. High 11s with few bolt-ons, low 11s with more bolt-ons and meth etc.

So, not really surprising that with a good launch you pulled ahead.

5.3 definitely something going down there gas wise. Most hit 4.7-8 comfortably.

I have only done a rolling race one time vs the Camaro in map 2. Its pretty neck and neck and then around 90 ish mph the Camaro pulls ahead and doesn't stop pulling.
Weird,. Every vid I see or hear off is them seeing stinger taillights

Do you have ram air ducts for your intakes by any chance, Velossatech or JA Airscoops?
No I don't but intakes wise I have the Ingen intakes. I monitor the temp with the JB4 and it always is about 10 degrees hotter then the outside air when moving which seems to be pretty good. I also have no desire to take off the front bumper to install the snorkels.

Ya gas seems to be a hit or miss where I am. I'm going to try shell gas my next tank but they do not carry 93. Also the 5.3 time is just what the JB4 records as a 0-60. I am not to sure how accurate that is. I tried some gps apps but they don't work for crap. The Camaro has the 0-60 timer built into the performance screen on the dash.
