Yeah never been a fan of oiled filters, the oil can get blown downstream & gum up the MAF etc.Me as well. The dry ones still requiring some minor maintenance reading the info off the website

what exactly is the difference?Yes I like the dry filter better than oiled filters.
just saw this nvm!Yeah never been a fan of oiled filters, the oil can get blown downstream & gum up the MAF etc.
I also have the AEM. Although I wouldn't say it was that easy to install. The sound is amazing and is worth it just for that. I do like the look of this much better and I'm just not a huge fan of "hot air intakes" I feel that a sealed box would do a better job of keeping the temps down but what do I know?I just installed the AEM CAI. It was a very easy install. Made a huge sound difference and when my exhaust comes next month, I expect to see some performance gains.
Godspeed Mr. Guinea Pig . I'm sure those intakes will perform beautifully.Just ordered the Afe takeda intake pro dry s . Spoke with someone from the company earlier today and they have about ten intakes ready to go out. She stated two to three days to process order and then they will ship. I’ll give an update once received and installed.

This is an interesting timeline they gave you, I've been pre-ordered since mid May and was told delivery for my order would be early July. I can't wait to start seeing the reviews and first thoughts on these.Just ordered the Afe takeda intake pro dry s . Looking forward to seeing what they're like after they're installed. Would love to get an in person experience. One of the next things on my list are intakes.Yeah that is a bit weird but that’s the timeline they gave me . Just sharing to the community

Yeah Sydney. That sucks. So you are over in AUS?
I know I should wait and see your results, but I feel like I need proper intakes. The dryflow filters, stock airbox, ram air ducts combo have served me well but I think I'm bottlenecked at low speeds before the air has a chance to ram in.Shipping by the end of the week. Heavily backed up due to a influx of orders. My intakes are in the warehouse in stock. Update sent by Afe.
I’ve read a thread on the forum somewhere cant recall where that dry drop in panel filters with snorkels were actually performing up to par with standard cold air intakesI know I should wait and see your results, but I feel like I need proper intakes. The ram air/stock airbox combo definitely helps to open up the top end of the car and it pulls like a train after about 45mph. But since I'm still on the stock airbox, there isn't much filter surface area so my low-speed response is suffering a bit.I’ve read a thread on the forum somewhere cant recall where that dry drop in panel filters with snorkels were actually performing up to paras standard intakes
