Good IMR America

Uh oh. I ordered some spark plugs from them as part of the memorial day sale. Hopefully I get them sooner rather than later.

Good deal!

I ordered my intakes end of January and still waiting, same old yours is next excuse. Shame because I love the product. Going to have to be a PayPal investigation to get my money back.

So I called Evan which I think maybe the head of imr or Atleast the head of sales. He said mine will be ready to be shipped by end of June or early July.
I ended up canceling my order and getting my refund. Evans is a scam artist who has been kicked off and banned from several legit forums for not delivering on parts that were paid for. IMR America

Hi everyone. I don't spend much time on the forums so I did see this until one of our customers actually brought it to our attention. We are a stand-up company and have been helping hundred to customers on this platform take their car to the next level. We always deliver even if our custom parts take longer. And for those who reach out we always let them know if we need more time or are ready to ship. I wish more people who have great experiences would post. Unfortunately, the most vocal are those who want to share a negative experience. We will work to keep it all transparent and balanced.

The trouble we run into is that we design and fabricate a lot of our own products in house and sometimes on new custom products that haven't been scaled we are not able to keep up with demand. Our custom intakes and secondary down pipe are examples of that. However, we have started mass producing our product like our FMIC pipes and primary down pipes and have shipped quite a few of these.

We are grateful for all the love and support the everyone continues to show us. We are primarily on FB and IG so that where our posts and on all of what we are doing for this platform. We will need to start posting here more.

If anyone has an order that they have questions on feel free to message us directly. Again, we don't get to check messages or thread here. But I will respond to anyone who has commented on this thread...most of which i seems like we have given updates or already shipped their products or refunded if requested.

Thanks
Evans

My intakes have now arrived and really pleased with them. I did have my concerns over the time it took but communication was great from Evans and will be looking to order a FMIC next. Appreciate all your help Evans.

Thanks for taking the time to share Rich. The R&D on developing the manufacturing production process took a while but we are now cranking out 4 every two weeks. Still have 15 more sets to deliver on the intake before we are caught up but our new hire is doing a great job.

Cheers.
Evans

@ Closet_Soviet......Yes. We processed your refund. We won't hold anyone's money. We are a bonified company and are only guilty of long lead times for custom hand made parts and have never been banned. These long lead times happen on new products before we can have them scaled for mass production. If customers aren't comfortable waiting for the custom parts we provide a refund. If when we get caught up you want to reorder let us know. We look forward to scaling these and being able to shipping on demand.

Hi Simba....your CAI is at powder coat and will be out and shipping next week. ;-) So we will be able to put that to bed. As per our conversation on the secondary downpipes we have scaled them and have a CNC pipe bending company on board. We will be receiving 25 sets which will clear all backorders and allow us to ship on demand. We are excited about this. I'll follow up for an ETA on those and give the most current update. Thanks for your patience.

They seem like a great company. Although I have never bought anything from them, I ask the owner questions all the time on Facebook and he gives me his time to respond to the best of his knowledge. Great guy.

I'm going to address the post by Closet_Soviet.

It appears that there are half truths about the post regarding the FMIC as well as the sway bar.

1) The FMIC was never ordered or paid for by closet_soviet. The FMIC was a product swap between myself and another vendor. The vendor sold their Stinger and was not in a rush to get the FMIC. The vendor I have a professional relationship and talk business and knew at the time cores were not available and they were understanding and ok with waiting. Months down the line you contacted us, let us know that the vendor was going to let you be the beneficiary of the bartered product. After we started working with closet_soviet more directly we shared how we believe in good customer service took an action to create a real trackable order in the system for his order so our production team would see it and prioritize it. We also wanted to sweeten the deal for him and offered free powder coating on the full kit with any color of his choice at our expense. After issue number two below, we decided to cancel his made up order which he never paid for and worked it out with the vendor who we still have a great business relationship with.

2) While on the phone with closet_soviet about his interest in a sway bar and what the inventory was, we advised there was one in stock, but the manufacture increased pricing and we needed to update our site to reflect that. He laughed an placed the order anyway. I advised that we won't be able to fulfill the order because we would be shipping at that big loss. He stated that he placed the order prior to our call but we could see the time stamp on the order and his statement was not accurate. He didn't seem to care and state he would go on the forums are post negatively about us. I'm not sure why you would take this approach with a small business or any business for that matter.

We have never been banned on any forums. A post closet_soviet tried to site shows the thread ending with the customer staying he got his orders.

If anyone has any questions about lead time feel free to reach out. We do our best to be responsive as we get massive amount of communication from phone, email, FB and IG. Follow us to see all the cool products and services we offer as we continue to scale this company to support this any other platforms.

It also appears we need to post more about all the good we have done and are continuing to do on this platform. I will be posting here more frequently and will ask our customers to do the same.

Cheers,
Evans

Thanks for sharing your experience. We aren't just here to sell parts or do installs. We help advise customers one the best way to build their car based on the goals they have.
