Has anyone tried these yet? I confirmed with NGK that these are a 1 step colder direct replacement for the OEM SILZFR7A9G spark plug

I looked at those too but not paying 40.00 a pop.

I see them on Rock auto for $33, plus shipping of course. I was curious if they were more durable than the HKS or Denso options. I had NGK's in both a 800 hp Procharged Mustang and a 400 hp Mazdaspeed 3 and never once had an issue. Seems like the Denso's don't last very long

I prefer NGK's as well, been using them in all my cars. I have thought about the stock NGK and gapping then down to .022 and trying those.

Yeah I just replaced my stock ones with the Denso 5346, and so far so good. I would prefer the NGK's as well. Gapping the OEM plugs down to .022 would really make for a extreme bend in the ground strap, and I think this motor (on a tune) definitely needs the benefits of a slightly colder plug. I wonder who makes the HKS plugs? I highly doubt they manufacture them

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I want to say Denso makes them.

Well I guess at 10 bucks a pop, I will just replace the Denso's once a year unless I start having issues with them.

HKS is a much cheaper safety net lol.
Jeff over at Burger Motorsports told me that they run the Denso's on their Stinger's, but Im not opposed to using the HKS if they are actually better/safer. I don't plan on going crazy with this car, probably just stick with a MAP1 or MAP2 and stock exhaust. Of course I always say that and then end up with Frankenstein's monster within a year. lol

The amount of times someone was complaining about some engine problem and they found out that the Denso plugs are just bad is the reason I went with HKS. I think I have over 15k miles on them by now. And it's not like those miles were all super gentle ones.

Yep I was one of those with the denso’s don’t do it. Currently have the HKS over 15,000 miles still running great denso lasted maybe 10,000. I got the NGK’s on deck.

I guess I did.

The only thing clear here is confusion.;)
Actually the HKS plugs clearly have NGK stamped on them. So I don't think they are made by Denso. Maybe the cheaper ones are but not the ones I run.
