Good Anyone looking for yellow?

Drove by this dealership today and they have a yellow one for sale if anyone is interested:

They seem hard to find.
They are hard to find cuz only 400 where made for the US I believe. When I was shopping around I missed an opportunity to get a Yellow GT2 with 3k miles on it because it was 1k over my budget.... if I had known it was rare at the time I wouldn't have given it a second thought.

If the Sunset Yellow at Jerry Seiner had been a GT1, that would have been my color the last four years. :D But it was a GT.

The Yellows only came in GT and GT2 trim if memory serves. Autotempest shows 7 for sale within 1500 miles of me, only 1 being a GT2. Man, I really missed out.

Sounds about right. Saw one GT this morning

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I remember seeing a 16 yr old on Instagram being surprised with a yellow GT2 at his birthday dinner. I often wonder if that car is still in one piece....

I can only imagine the crazy crap a 16 yr old could do with a GT2. And the insurance must be a fortune!

If you can find the video, and the car has plates on it, we can check to see if the plates are active and have been registered to a different vehicle or not. if not, it very well could be still on the road.

Depends on if you count the paint as a piece of the car...

Before anyone buys a yellow Stinger it would be wise to have an experienced body shop/paint guy go over it with a fine-tooth comb, even if the original owner had the respray recall done.

I remember several years ago where i used to live, a wealthy family bought their 15 year old a second gen 1997 dodge viper GTS for his 15th birthday when he got his learners permit.... yea... real smart... it wasn't around to see his 16th bday... thankfully only wiped out on his own and did not damage/injure anyone else but it did total it out for sure.

Met this guy last year at the Wednesday fun drags at Sacramento Raceway.

Met a yellow Stinger owner at a meet last weekend she was the second owner and had no idea of the recall back when. I believe a few that were returned and re-sold made it out with the respray.

From memory only 64 were sold here in Oz. This week i spied one in a local driveway and im in rural NSW. There's been 3 write offs to my knowledge here.

As far as I’m concerned, yellow, especially when combined with black- really accentuates the name, “Stinger.” What other color in the lineup says, “Stinger,” more than S_7Y?

Really? I didn’t know you were so partial to the yellows!
I don't know about "partial", but that vehicle, had it been a GT1, would have been the one I bought: so, I guess I'm partial to Sunset Yellow over Silky Silver. :D I really enjoy my Silky Silver, though, mainly because it has been trouble-free and still looks new.

I own a Yellow GT2 Stinger. Before you buy I want to make sure you know what you are getting into. Upon purchasing mine at an amazing price they notified me the car title is branded as a lemon due to a manufacturing defect in the paint. Therefore the market value of the car is diminished and unlikely able to be traded in after purchasing. The good news is I am able to receive a property tax adjustment that benefits me after filing proper paper work with the board of equalization because my vehicles market value is not comparable to other stingers on the market due to the branded title.

As far as paint goes. Mine was taken back to the manufacturer to get repainted but they missed several things. The top rails behind the sunroof were never repainted and this is where you can see the paint defect where it's cracked all over those rails. There is a slight variation in color between the metal body and the plastic bumpers noticeable in afternoon lighting. When you open up to fill your gas was not painted correctly either as I can see chipped layers of paint. As I am finding out now, if you own a yellow stinger do not replace the emblems (E badge) yourself as the paint did not do well and I now need to take to a shop for repainting.

After all of that, the color is really beautiful and the car is a head turner. It has small things that are fixable and not really noticeable unless you are right up beside it. I have no regrets.

Haven't seen a yellow Stinger in awhile. The yellow, as well as the indigo blue seem to be more of a Unicorn than any other color, at least in my area.
