I currently have a whiteline rear sway bar with whiteline end links. I also have whiteline front end links. The whiteline front sway bar is on back order. I see I can get the whiteline front sway bar from another website as well as other front sway Bars . If I ran a eibach front sway bar or ark or any other company I should be fine right ? Eibach , ark etc front sway bar and pair it with whiteline end links ? That is ok correct ?

I would imagine aftermarket bar mfg's design their bars to compliment one another in terms of torsion rates front/rear for the given application. I would not mix brands. End links are a different matter, they're static except for the ball joint which I doubt makes any difference.

Makes sense but wanted to confirm before trying it. I’ll hold off. Thanks

I wouldn't worry that you are doing something wrong that will hurt the car, or be dangerous, if you used different make sway bars. You would just be complicating things, requiring more testing to get the right feel. But our supply chain is not broken, only delayed, so, waiting for the other bar is what I would do too: no reason to make do with whatever we can get (that's so third-world. hah).

It'll work but how well it would work is the question. It could be exactly what you're looking for or not, it would require some testing since not many mix the brands and none really give you the rate. But also you are already mixing brands by still having the oe front bar.

This. I would imagine the difference between Whiteline rear and stock front is bigger than the difference between Whiteline rear and ark/eibach front

My patience is through the roof when ordering things online lol . I’ll just wait since I already have the white line rear sway bar and end links.

I'm starting to believe everything is made to order. When i ordered my Ark exhaust way back i was quoted 6 weeks. Turned up 5 months later.

While I'm here ordered 2 tee shirts told 1-3 weeks, the site was Australian noe found out the order is coming from the states. 6 weeks tomorrow still hasn't turned up but its been shipped on the 1 March! Tracking suggest it hasn't been lost.

The struggles of ordering online smh. I ordered my Megan Catback exhaust in the middle of march (around the 14th) . March 28th I get hit up saying it will be 3-6 weeks until arrived. Late April early May. Waiting is the name of the game smh.

In one sense, a bar is a bar.

IIRC, Whiteline is a little less aggressive (less stiff) than others. So if you want a firm front, maybe mixing with Eibach is not that bad an idea.

OTOH, I got a great deal on Whiteline's Black Friday sale on their full package (front / rear / links) in 2019 - 25% off, so under $400 for the whole thing. I had to wait like 3-4 months for it to arrive and they canceled on me once (thinking I didn't want to wait), but I was willing to be patient for the price..

My front sway bar is shipping This week. It was on back order for the whole month
Of march . I decided to be patient for once lol

there's nothing particularly fancy about sway bars. Diameter and adjustability are the only things you need to be looking at. If I remember correctly, the whitelines are the smallest upgrade from stock, next eibach, then ark at the top end as far as diameter (27mm front, 20mm rear.)

the larger the diameter, the more body roll control, the harder the impacts on single-wheel bumps. you feel this more on the front axle.

larger in the front (without increasing the rear) yields more understeer.
larger in the rear (without increasing the front) yields more oversteer.

keep in mind the car is already tuned for understeer from the factory and you have staggered tire sizes, which also adds to understeer. You can also play around with the endlink mounting points on the bracket to tune them.

I doubt you would feel much difference between, say, 25 and 26mm. you might feel the difference between 25 and 27 though.

^^You can't use diameter as a comparison metric. Wall thickness can also vary in different sections of the bar. Some mfg's include the torsion rate (lbs/inch).

I remember hunting down this info when I had the G. Compared eibach, hotchkis, whiteline, and some other brand I can't recall.

the ARKs are solid, not sure about the others.
