Finally received by Jun BL downpipes and had them installed. Decided to record another audio clip and add it to the series.

Video goes from stock to Jun BL GT exhaust, followed by the addition of downpipes.

Hope it helps!

2020 Kia Stinger GT2 (3.3L TT engine)

- Intake is stock airbox, with drop in K&N air filters.
- Catback exhaust is the Jun BL GT
- Secondary downpipes are Jun BL

The latest addition of the secondary downpipes have further reduced what little drone existed. Overall tone is deeper and there are more burbles coming off acceleration. I don't notice any difference in the power or pedal response whatsoever. If anything there is a decrease in low end torque, with a more even/smooth power delivery and less abrupt "throw you back in your seat" feel.

Any issues with the secondary downpipes causing overboost issues and are you stock besides what you mentioned ?

No overboost issues to date. I'm still running the stock airboxes with K&N filters.

Right now Takeda is developing a true cold air intake for the Stinger that I would like to get, but I'm a little worried about possible overboost if I add it. I'm trying to avoid having to add a piggyback system like the JB4 if possible. (personal preference because I bought the extended warranty with my certified pre-owned car).

I’m in the same boat with you my guy. I don’t want it JB4 and would rather just stick with bolt ons. That takeda cold air intake is really looking attractive . I see they release in April . How would those cause overboost issues ? And I’m liking your exhaust setup brah. The Jun bl gt Catback with the downpipes is definitely what I will be doing . How long have you had this setup ?

I am going to order these but I do not understand the difference in the downpipes and cats. Is it all about air flow? I live in Pa, an inspection state, and wonder if it will affect exhaust results.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

There is a chance that you may have isues. When i lived in Pa. I know i always hated inspection time. Hopefully another member from Pa. will chime in on the inspection stuff that has downpipes.
What ive read/learned you can usually get downpipes without cats or with race cats.
It is all about air flow. Simply put, more air in, more air out, more hp. (Thats very dumbed down. Not to offend) Your exhaust note will get louder, how much i cant tell you. But they will help the performance

Thanks. I have a friend that said he would hook me up with the inspection deal but I'd rather not put him in that position. Pretty sure that is my next purchase. Jun B sound like a lion roar when revved!
