KIA Fuel Injection and Oil System Cleaners

kia uses techron for fuel cleaning. using top tier fuels its really not a vast deal but cant hurt to pop a bottle in at oil change. oil cleaner is worthless IMO.

1- if you do regular changes its not an issue
2- these cars are super young
3- its not 1995

How much do they charge you? 50 a pop? Haha.

I second what was said about the oil cleaner... as long as you stay on top of your oil changes, especially if you're using synthetic, it's not an issue at all... today's engine oil is engineered to not only clean extremely well with detergent packages, but then suspend and hold onto contaminants and stop them from adhering to surfaces so it all goes out with the oil when you drain it.

And yeah for the fuel cleaner... if you go get it yourself, a 2 pack of techron is like $15 at Advance or AZ.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I would never use these given the frequency at which I change cars, but it looks to be around AUD9.45.
Injector cleaner is part of fixed price service so no big deal. Invoices from the last 3.

Oh I didn't know that.

Incidentally that isn't a capped price servicing for the Stinger GT, or is it? I mean, it would be too cheap...

Yes for GT, only showed part of invoice. You have a later model so total will be more. My 4 year 40k 20220204_195002.webpservice is due mid May and I've only just passed 31k.

Every dealer has magic juice they try to sell at service intervals. Quick and easy upsell.

Useful? Hell no.

These "treatments" won't help intake buildup either. This is the same as getting any additive off the shelf at the parts store.
