I like the look of the drls being on but the damn things just won't stay on unless it's direct sunlight. Reverts to full on headlights most of the time. I feel like it's only my car that does it though cuz when I drive past other Stingers, they don't seem to have their headlights on, just the drls.Yup indeed annoying. I just turn mine off.
It makes me think whoever manufactures the light sensor for kia just has really bad tolerances for sensitivity... just googling kia sensitive light sensor shows people complaining about it alot... Another scenario, My parents had kias back in 2004 era, and i remember thinking those weren't sensitive enough and it would wait too long at dusk to turn on and Kia did a 360 and made them more sensitive...I like the look of the drls being on but the damn things just won't stay on unless it's direct sunlight. Im not sure what trim you have, or what trims this feature is on, but on my 18 GT2, we have a feature in one of the cluster menu's called "Headlamp Delay" which seems like it could be what your asking for, based off the tiny blurb that the info screen gives. It makes me think whoever manufactures the light sensor for kia just has really bad tolerances for sensitivity... just googling kia sensitive light sensor shows people complaining about it alot... All that said, I feel my stinger's auto lights are not too sensitive and i don't feel the lights turn on more or less than our bmws. However it does seem it wouldn't be too difficult for kia to have added in a way to adjust the sensitivity/time delay before the car decides to turn the lights on, I've seen the sensitivity settings on Honda's for sure and thought it was a good idea.

i think the headlight delay is referring to the headlights staying on after you turn off the car for 30 seconds or so.Im not sure what trim you have, or what trims this feature is on, but on my 18 GT2, we have a feature in one of the cluster menu's called "Headlamp Delay" which seems like it could be what your asking for, based off the tiny blurb that the info screen gives.
