Hey peeps,

Winter is here and my Stinger and my wifes jeep is filthy. A friend of mine told me about the pressure washer he has and how much easier/quicker it is to wash his cars. He raved about the Sun Joe, and I see it has good reviews. Looking at their product lines, I see that there is an XT1 that comes with an integrated foam cannon. It's not in the wand, instead of a detergent tank, its the foam cannon that can be held by the main unit. To be clear, I will only using this to clean my 2 cars. No professional work.

About this foam cannon. This XT1 model is $50 more expensive than the non-foam cannon model. So now I'm comparing this $50 sunjoe vs $50s Chemical guys or other market.

What do you all think? Should I buy the XT1 model and use Sun Joe for both pressure washer and foam cannon? Or get the cheaper models and get a more expensive foam cannon?

thanks peeps

The foam cannon is garbage. I have the $100 Ryobi pressure washer and MATCC foam cannon with 1.1mm orifice from Amazon. Works great and cheap!

That ryboi, is it handheld? electric battery?

If you want compact get the Active VE52... and a decent hose, and foam cannon (MATCC, Griot's Brilliant finish, etc)

I have been using the spx3000 and an el-cheapo foam cannon from amazon for the past 3 years. Has been fine.

Whats the exact make/model of your MATTCE foam cannon?

What foam/soap do you use?

wait a sec. Practically all of these foam cannons say they require or recommend GPM of 2.0 or greater. The sun joe 3000 only has 1.76 GPM. Yet every review I see boasts how great this pressure washer is as a foam cannon. Is 1.76 good enough?

You will probably have to change the orifice in the cannon - the VE52 is 2.0GPM

Is this the 1.1MM orifice I read about above?
Correct, some cannon's like the Griot's come with both, so no need to buy a separate one
