Just installed those EWG add on connectors to my JB4 and took the car for a spin. I can't tell what's going on from just feel; I suppose the shifts feel smoother and so does the acceleration. But I can't tell if the acceleration is any better or maybe even not as good as before.

I know it says [on Stinger 3.3L EWG Connectors - N54Tech.com - International Turbo Racing Discussion] to have v14 along with all these user adjustments -- so yes logic dictates to abide -- but the corner cutter in me didn't. I figured they're just suggestions than must-do's but what do I know. Can anyone with experience chime in pls? Thank you in advance.

Also below is a graph from today (map 4 and 91 gas) - did one pedal to the metal from 0 to about 75mph and then a few more small ones while already rolling. Attached is the spreadsheet.

NEVERMIND! Updated JB4 firmware to v22 finally (duh) and she's back baby -- she's back! Haven't touched any other JB4 settings but I am elated again driving this baby. I think the EWG connectors made it better but hey - butt dyno gonna butt dyno.

I would like to see a log now that the firmware is updated. Map 4 seems like it would be way to aggressive for 91 octane.

Maybe a few of the guys can take a look and make sure it's running good.

Map2 is the max for 91 octane.

Got it. Risks of keeping it at map 4? I’ve always liked the feel of it the most but I will switch to map 2 (which I haven’t tried in a while admittedly).

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Alright alright so map 2 is great and so was installing the EWG add on. Although the process of unplugging the car’s wastegate on both sides sucked bc I was sticking my hands through tight spaces so I struggled mightily to unclick that sucker. Think I’m traumatized.

yes, installing those was a huge pain!

I'm currently having trouble with mine xc I just get a whole bunch of engine codes! currently trying to use burger support to fix the problem but it's taking a while. might just have an old jb4 but not 100% sure yet.

2nd hand JB4?

Maybe need the new chip.

that's what I'm thinking also tbh. I contacted burger support but they're asking for a data log. I feel nervous doing it because I get three engine codes that don't even show up when you look it up. ima do it when I get home today but I don't even fully know how to get good data to log for them like do I start at 0 and just floor it? and if so for how long.

You can do a roll from say 30-90 or something. Maybe start in second gear and get 2nd, 3rd and 4th gears.

Can someone point me in the right direction for which settings I should change my JB4 given my mods (see sig) including my EWG add on connectors’? I’ve been doing E30 and still over-boosting into limp mode even on map 2 (even tho I tend to do map 3 or 4 with E30 mix but of course the mixes vary given who-knows-what the gas station is actually giving me when I put in 4-6 gallon of E85 on top of my 91).

it has something to do with your downpipe. Email Terry regarding EGW settings.

Lower FF in increments of 5 until its no longer over boosting.

Today I found a sweet spot number with the FF (and as mentioned I also have the EWG add on connector) and my shifts were buttery smooth and fast. Couldn’t believe it: Didn’t floor it and no E85 but still impressed…

For those in cold weather (< 50f) we're also testing an update in the app, v24_t7.
