What's your favorite Mando setting! Post it!

Guess I misunderstood.

It looks like at 49 seconds you show the Sport readings as 0.674 (I goofed when I said it’s ~80% stiffness.). No?

So, if 80% is 0.56 and 50% is 0.94, then would 0.67 be ~70%? (Calculated in my head at 2 am - forgive me.)

I’m assuming a linear slope, of course.
I understand why it would look that way .. but no. It isn't that way.

Sport mode is way softer than 70% when stationary. I can't explain why it shows .67 A when sport mode is selecred while stationary.

It's very different while driving (in sport mode) constantly changing based on inputs (throttle, brake, steering angle, G sensors)

There’s definitely some magic there. I just wish its roll stiffness was higher, especially in the rear.

I drove in Mando comfort yesterday and it’s so much better that stock Stinger comfort.

Anyone have any updated Mando settings they’re willing to share? Just got mine installed yesterday.

This is my preferred advanced speed dependent profile.

Front/Rear - ride.
Front/Rear - handling.

I got my Mando ECS-10 in March and immediately started appreciating how much it improved the stock shock settings. Our North American Stingers are way too soft in the back, especially in rebound!

Initially I set one of the 'free' slots to Full Hard, and another to Full Soft and switched back and forth over familiar roads at various speeds. This gave me a feel for the spectrum of tunability. Then I applied my sport motorcycle experience - a GSX-R1000 with a fully adjustable suspension - to my car. After a month I was only fiddling with settings every other day or so. Later on, maybe every week or two.

The other day I realized I hadn't seen a need to play with it for over a month, so I guess it's time to share! These settings are relatively comfortable in residential settings with speed bumps and potholes, but firm up nicely as you pass 60kph. In particular the car behaves much better when navigating mid-corner bumps. IMHO these suspension characteristics are way, way more in line with the Grand Touring character of the car than the stock Sport/Comfort options.

For me, the key is to have the rear 10 points higher than the front for every measurement. This helps remove the car’s bad habit of extra movement in the rear on tighter turns.

After years of ownership I finally started to 'tune' my Mando device. I am actively working on the perfect setup for my local area. I have ARK-f lowering springs and since they have fully settled my car does run over bumps and dips on the roadway. My settings reflect that.

I use anywhere from 75-82 front and 78-88 rear stiffness for ride and similar numbers for handling.
This stops the travel in suspension that led to rubs.
When the whole family is in the car the stars go to 88+ for all stats because of extra weight.
On smooth nice roads it is like driving a drift car it's so stiff and smooth.
It is mimicking the effects of a sway bar too in my opinion.
Also I do have a rear BMS Diff Brace and it cleans up the rear slop in the turns.

Quite go kart like.1000000698.webp

Are you just using the basic settings and not the advanced?

Your car is gorgeous by the way.

Thank you! And yes just basic settings. I have an autocross to do this Saturday so we will see how I tweak it there.
Advanced would be helpful if I didn't rub at low speeds mostly so I need the stiffness from 0 - 25 for the most part

Update!

I took the stinger (instead of the race car) out to an autocross and dominated my class!
I was in Not for Points because I really can't understand how the class system works
Anyway long story short I got 2nd place in class and the only car that beat me was a Tesla Model 3 Plaid.

Many competitors commented that they had never seen a stinger move like that, and those who did ride alongs with me were stunned by the speed!

It was a blast.

I was 1.5 seconds faster than 3rd and .5 seconds slower than 1st.

Anyway during the 7 runs I was tweaking the Basic tuning on my Mando app, I believe I have found a great setting for low speeds (under 50mph) and very aggressive driving. Maybe make this a backup setting in the event you need to race through a city for whatever reason.

This car has lowering springs so the rates are different than stock but what the heck.

RIDE
69% front 78% rear
HANDLING
70% front 76% rear

go give it a try and tell me if it feels good for you!

Thanks for sharing @DoctorStiches
I usually just keep the stock comfort setting that comes with the app.

Any favorite settings for daily driving?

Pretty cool beating the Supra btw!

I know this wasn't asked of me, but sharing just the same.

This end of this video has a fairly good profile I use for daily driving..

Front and rear, ride + handling settings by speed. (4 screenshots)

For the longest time I just used the preset sport mode. Now I set it to 70 80 range everywhere
