I've been thinking about new wheels with a hint of red to go with my Stinger's color, but way too expensive, then the light came on. I took the centre cap off, removed the 2 screws for the GT logo and painted red with a heavy metal flake for $10. I tried the Brembo red first but looked too bright. This color is very close and looks much better in the sun.

ehh, not bad. If the red was a bit closer to the Brembo color it might be even better.

Bmac; good catch! Yes to both. The foreground is a 1:18 diecast model of my Stinger…. And the 1:18 scale Tumbler in the background. …just a small display of “toys” in my office at work. I added the scale CHP for fun - and hopes this would be the ONLY CHP action my Stinger would see….. :) Cheers, db

I posted some pics of the model with my actual car a while back. If you care to, you’re welcome to check them out on my profile page. Not exact - but I think its convincing match. The model was an eBay find and a bit pricy; but it’s easily one of the best 1:18 scale diecast models I’ve ever seen and owned. Quality build.
