So, it sounded like they did take care of something for you though in terms of sounds/creaks/crackles/ratlles? If yes, what was it?they couldnt identify the issue as well..... Useless dealers imo

I use these silicone round bumpers. Where the hatch door jams come in contact with the car body I stick them there. I also got the repair kit(less than $10 CDN) from my local dealer and installed it myself).Yes, it Dif. But at The back I still have some sounds. I sen oics later of what have improved hatch...

Here is the TSB Pdf. Has the part number to ask for at parts.

It's just and adhesive metal decal from the store here, fits right over the original and looks great.

Peel and stick. Simple. How did you do the steering wheel rebadge…. You need to replace the whole airbag don’t you?
One possible cause was mentioned above: loose rocker panels (side skirts): push really hard along the inner edge to reseat the retaining clips. The loose panels resonate up the B pillars and cause the noises heard in the cabin. Similarly, the headliner can be loose: go around the sunroof opening especially, and push up hard and you might hear a "Velcro" reseating sound. Good luck! And welcome.Hi,
I'm new here and unfortunately my first post is about a problemI got my Stinger a couple of months ago and I love it, but I have this creaking noise that is driving me crazy:
Anyone recognising this upsetting creaking? I can't find its source, sometimes I think it's on the passenger side, sometimes on the driver side. I can always hear it when the car is in motion, at any speed. I ruled out the sunroof, the dashboard, the seats, it looks like something structural, something related to the windshield or the pillars. But at this point I'm not really sure of anything...
Thank you.
I've had issues with not only my sunroof creaking but also my headliner. I've found DIY solutions but agree that this is unacceptable for a car that cost 50k. For the sunroof rattle I simply placed to pieces of rubber on the spot where the footings of the sunroof glass come down and sit on. For the headliner rattle I bought thin foam sheets from Michael's, unscrewed the oh shit handles on both sides so you can pull the headliner down just enough to slide the foam sheets in. I used your typical trim tool to help get the foam in. Then rescrewed the oh shit handles. I still had minor creaking but that was fixed with again another small strip of foam right along the edge of the sunroof opening in between the headliner and the roof.Hi everyone
Firstly I'd like to thank the creators of this forum and members for their contribution. I've been a quiet but active member for the past year and half, have leveraged a lot of great information on here, and wanted to contribute to this forum in a constructive manner.
After searching this forum I found that a whole lot of us have issues with interior rattles, creaking and noises with car that in some countries costs over $50K. I have absolutely loved my 2018 GT2 limited since taking delivery of it here in Toronto. However I think it is unacceptable that a car of this caliber and price has noise issues that a cheap rental cars I've driven like a Malibu, Focus, or Corolla frankly don't have.
This is not related to Rear Hatch TSB, as I have got that service done a while back, shortly after taking delivery of the Vehicle.
Filing Formal Cases with Kia Corporate
Today I followed up on an earlier sunroof rattle issue I filed a while back with Kia Canada. To this day the issue exists.
As of about 1 month ago, I am hearing an incredibly load rattling noise from the interior passenger side of the vehicle. Very similar to that as Described by @Nick666 and @HPR Stinger over in another thread.
I wanted use this thread as means for us to formally file cases with Kia Corporate of our respective countries, and keep track of the progress and (hopefully) resolution to these unacceptable issues.
After filing another case today - I am going back to my local dealer to follow up and see what occurs and will update this thread with my results.
I would welcome anyone else to share their interior noise related issues and cases here in hopes that enough numbers will get Kia to do a formal TSB or recall if required.
