Apparently the Korean ones are clear, with full led and are sequential. The NA definitely don't look the same, still haven't heard if they are sequential over here. If not, then they definitely aren't better imo.How are they different?
Yeah, we always get hosed. No cool clear corners, it's a US DOT thing that they need to be amber, which usually bugs me but they look good on the Stinger, especially since they are led. I believe my 2020 gt has full led (except for the reverse lights) which I swapped to led. Apparently, some older models had non led turn signals as well, not sure what year they changed that, although the blinkers on the tails are a full boring yellow, instead of the Korean ones with the nice pattern that matches the front blinkers.Oh, I'm sorry, I just saw @Jayphil's second post. I can confirm that I do have the Korean first-gen led blinkers on my EU spec stinger. I never knew the NA ones were different.

Sad news that they not led and not sequential...My 2022 GT1 has a translucent, incandescent turn signal.
My dealer just got a facelifted GT2 and can confirm turn signals are NOT LED or sequential.
Looks like its got a white cover on with bumps to look close to LEDs version.
Not digging the facelift honestly. Rear light strip makes it look closer to a Charger's rear IMO, prefer the older snowflake wheels to these star looking ones, and new logo is an improvement over the old oval, but id probably like to color match it to the car for a more embossed look.
But to each his/her own
Wow! How unfortunate. Definitely no reason to upgrade now imo.My dealer just got a facelifted GT2 and can confirm turn signals are NOT LED or sequential.
Part of me wonders how much I care considering I will most likely never be looking at the rear of my car with the turn signals on.
But there has to be some value in never having to change bulbs...

Are you sure the rear turn signals are not LED? Because my 2018 brochure shows all trims except the Base got LED rear turn signals. Why would Kia downgrade to non LED for the refresh? Makes no sense. My dealer just got a facelifted GT2 and can confirm turn signals are NOT LED or sequential.
Unless theres a singular LED behind that white layer LOL.Are you sure the rear turn signals are not LED? Because my 2018 brochure shows all trims except the Base got LED rear turn signals. Why would Kia downgrade to non LED for the refresh? Makes no sense.
I beg to differ.
The exhaust sound is lame.
Being LED doesn't necessarily mean sequential.Unless theres a singular LED behind that white layer LOL.
No clue either why they'd do that unless it's some US safety regulation or something. Definitely wasnt sequential when i tried the blinkers on the showroom.
Sound of a car recorded with unknow device, compressed and than listened with another device will also not represent real life sound.

The lack of sequential rear turn signals is really disappointing. That was the saving grace of the changeover. I would probably breakdown and import the Korean taillight assembly. My dealer just got a facelifted GT2 and can confirm turn signals are NOT LED or sequential.

I understand that. I was just making the point that the rear turn signals on the NA GT2 at least dont match the "10 LED on black background" sequential ones on the Korean spec cars.Being LED doesn't necessarily mean sequential.
