I know there's a ton of talk about bedding brakes. My problem is I live in Iowa, and I am in Temple, Texas for work and just started getting the brake shudder at just over 6k. I have no idea where I can go to bed them. Call the drag strip? I highly doubt they let me use it or not charge me a fortune. I travel home 900 miles on Friday and don't think that is wise without trying to bed them. I work for the railroad and don't have alot of extra time. I guess my question is am I just screwed because I didn't bed them to begin with, do I drive an hour outside of town to try and find a good road, or just make my 900 mile trip home and do it when I get there. I have to do a turn and burn and drive back here on Sunday. TIA for any feedback.

Just go find an empty back road or do it late at night? You don’t have to get the car to 80+ mph or anything crazy, I’ve done it successfully a few times only getting to around 50 back down to 10 and back up to 50 repeatedly.

Highway, get up to speed, hard on the binders, and repeat (with nobody behind /around you of course) and you will be good

I just wanted to make sure it was worth trying before I went that route. I appreciate it.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Just a couple times will cut it?
This guide has some solid instructions, doesn’t have to be exact but this will give you an idea of what to do.

lots of long straight service roads on I35 both north and south of Temple, hit up Buc-ees while you're at it.

I did mine about 5 times (I could smell the brakes).
Don't come to a complete stop.
Get back on I35 for a few miles so the brakes can cool before you come to a complete stop.

Hi buddy,
How are the rotors working for you now.?
Is the issue fixed.?
I am also planning on ordering brakeperformance.com Rotors for my GT2.
