Trading MK6 Golf R for Stinger... Am I making the right choice?

Well, Carvana was just here to pick up my Golf R. Literally 5 minutes, signed papers, they put a key in a window lock and asked where we could put it for the truck when it comes... I told them just leave it here in my driveway. They said I don't even have to be here when they come get it (and to be honest, I hope they didn't put the spare key in the window lock.. the battery is probably dead! lol).

So, I would say, unless something odd happens, Carvana was a super easy experience and gave me a great deal on my car.

Well, the money for the Golf R is already in my account... wow... I have to say Carvana is great (at least for buying your car). Their prices on cars to buy seem a little high in some cases, but I think it's because they overpay for trades.

I am always looking for a reason to go for a drive now. Today I think it's Home Depot as our door into the garage needs a new doorknob.

As far as comparing the two... it's easy. The Stinger is 10x the car. You sit lower, don't feel like you're in a small car, and its SO much faster. Don't get me wrong, I loved the Golf R too, but at 6'2" 250lbs I am realizing that small cars aren't the best for me. I bought a ZL1 Camaro convertible this spring which showed me that... (we needed a 4 seater convertible for the family... and this popped up at a dealer!)

The only thing the Golf had that I may like better is an inch or 2 of headroom. But, even with the seat all the way back on the Stinger my daughter still has plenty of room in the back.

Happy I made the choice.. now I wish I could find some vinyl stickers of Stinger from One Punch Man (Class A Rank 10 hero) to put in the window. I'm a weird 50 year old man I guess.. haha!

Awesome! I was curious how a Golf R owner would feel about the acceleration in the Stinger. The Stinger is great at getting up to speed, it's just not a monster from a roll, but the way it picks up speed will surprise you on the highway. I've caught myself at speeds way over the limit when making a quick pass without even realizing it.
