• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Apologies in advance if I derped on search - just trying to find a good tuner/mechanic for my 2020 Stinger GT1 in the Houston area. I have an Excel spreadsheet full of mods I want to do, but I want to make sure I'm working with a solid tuner, as well as someone who won't rape the bill unnecessarily. Any leads on a GOOD Houston Stinger pro?

Lets see your spreadsheet of planned mods.

Alright well "full" was a bit of an overstatement lol and I realized my list is uh...quite tiny in comparison to what I see in a lot of signatures.

Really I just want better intakes, louder more rumbley/throaty exhaust (if a setup can make those enjoyable pops on downshift even better but not necessary...I just like the sound), tune (not sure if JB4 or Lap3 yet), CF hood, and not sure what else just yet. I do plan on getting rid of the badges and replacing them with the E badge, but my dealership said they would take care of that for me. I just want to get some work done to it but someone trustworthy and maybe eventually do a real build with it...but for now, just the basics I guess.

The only trustworthy person I can recommend for the work would be yourself. You should be able to do all the above, however I would suggest a muffler shop for the exhaust install. Cheers

Aces performance exhaust did my catback install. They also said they would do downpipes installs. The intakes and JB4 you can do yourself, which I would recommend so that if you need to take it into the dealer for work, you know how to uninstall it. Which dealer said they would rebadge for you?

Nice nice, I'll have to check them out - and yeah I am sure I can do the intake and JB4/Lap3 by myself since I've replaced cold air and short ram in previous cars without any issues. Joe Meyer's said they'd rebadge me when I bring it in for my 1000 checkup if I wanted.

Do you know they sell exhaust tips also? Really not looking forward to the two month lead time for AK tips

Negative. You are pretty much going to have to wait for AliExpress to get them through customs or buy the real ones from AK for an exorbatant amount. I drove around without them for a while waiting for them to come in. Drone was bad, but not so bad I didn't want to drive it.

Who in Houston would you recommend installing Eibach sway bars? I've heard the sway bars a game changer on the Stingers.

Did you find a shop or diy?

I had my suspension in Houston done by Sal's Autosport. Springs and sways.
