360 Camera for USA?

Yeah this is getting interesting but personally abstract, in terms of current ownership. The horses are already out of the barn, so to speak. And while it can be fun to play armchair marketer, I refuse to let the green eyed monster deprive me of enjoying my new car. I take every chance/excuse I can to take it for a drive. :)

For me, the horse is still firmly in the barn. I'm glad you were able to get the model/features that fit for you. My wife and I have seen the Deep Chroma Blue color in person as well as several other colors and the DCB stands out enough that we're just going to have to wait. We both really liked the Red and Micro Blue too though. However, we just aren't Red car people and the Micro Blue is really nice and would be great if Deep Chroma Blue simply didn't exist. We actually saw the Micro Blue and Deep Chroma Blue right next to each other on the showroom floor. If Kia wasn't planning to offer that color, they might want to just get them out of the showrooms. However, the damage is done.

Now that we've seen it in person and know it's available elsewhere we're not going to compromise with our 50K and we'll just keep looking/waiting. However, TBH, if they had offered this color, we probably would have pulled the trigger already and joined the buyer's club despite the other obvious omissions. Hopefully, they'll put out the Chroma Blue soon as a Special Edition or maybe as a regular color in 2019 and also include some of the missing features to sweeten the purchase.

I agree, and it really comes down to whether any given shopper is able/willing to wait for a theoretical inclusion in 2019. I was car shopping for over a year, and decided the missing features weren't worth waiting another half-year (or more) to obtain, especially since nothing is guaranteed at this point. Feature additions could also end up being part of a mid-cycle refresh, rather than 2nd-year, which could make for an even longer wait. Then there are the people on here who posted that their leases were ending, or had jalopies that were failing.

...with me squarely in the latter category Lol! I'd been clocking this car's development since the 1st GT concept, so was interested already. My 05 Accord giving up the ghost was just the nudge needed ;)

Well...the longer you wait the more easily to comp a G70. Initial photos and build on the Korean genesis site look awesome. Very impressed with what I have seen so far.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

IMHO ....................Personally I see the G70 and Stinger as 2 completely different cars , I completely understand the appeal of the G70 as a smaller Lux Sports sedan , hunting for customers amongst the BMW 3 series and Audi 4 , MB C class , but it looks like an Infiniti wannabe ? For my needs it lacks the functionality of the extra length and hatch back . I like the design but to me it doesnt generate the degree of "emotion" that that Stinger does in this prespective , again IMHO and given functional needs ( I didnt say it needs a friggin hitch ! )

Oh. I agree with you. Stinger styling and function is hands down better to me as well.

I'm coming from an E46 M3 Coupe and think the stinger is a nice compromise of form, function, style and power. It may not corner like an M...but I can live with that.

TOTALLY agree ! I had an E39 M5 and will NEVER forget how wonderful that car handled , Bierman has a few tricks up his sleeve for these cars and , if we are WILLING to spend a few $$ on mods or newer models we will have similar ( maybe better )

"Willing" to spend...that's funny. I've had M vehicles for past 10 years...willing is not optional sometimes with them.

Very excited to see what's in store. Would love to see an "M-Style" version of the stinger...maybe a "hornet" package or something with upgraded performance, handing, etc.

...is it just me, or is the G70 attractive, sporty, luxurious and STILL not as emotive as a Stinger? I'm 46 and seen/driven/owned plenty of interesting (and not-so-interesting) cars. Only 1 other car has ever made me grin just from looking at it, and that's because it was my 1st real car build.

Sally (as our 4yr old named her as soon as he saw her) the Stinger holds my gaze for minutes sometimes. I get a s&!+ eating grin every time I walk out to her. Every single time. Our previous Audis, VWs, and Hondas never held that sway with me. We'll see how a G70 looks in 3 dimensions, but I was stung by the Stinger on pics alone. $.02 :)

Agreed...i think the G70 looks nice but does not have the same "presence" as the Stinger.
