I joined the Stinger family on July 9th of this year with a 2020 GT1. Today is August 3rd and I've already had it back to the dealer 3 times, 2 of which were tows because it was inoperable. Now to get to the issue. The immobilizer, part of the anti-theft system that detects the key inside of the car and thus allows the engine to start, has been having major issues. The first time I was making a slow right turn into my drive way, the immobilizer kicked on, and the car shut off (this was the first tow). The second time, my wife and I were just going for a drive, took another slow right turn, and it happened again. Got it restarted and drove straight to the dealership. They kept it for the weekend and thought all was well. Then the third time was this morning, it simply would not start in my driveway. This was the second tow. The car is currently at the dealer and I'm at my wit's end with what to do. Has anyone else had any problems like this? Did I just get a lemon off the line? I've attached a picture of what the light (roughly) looks like.

Never had an issue with that or read an issue, sounds like a lemon. Sorry you’re going through this

Have you tried NOT turning right?

I instantly thought of Zoolander when I read this. What if he is not an Ambi-turner and can't turn left?

No, but seriously...I haven't heard of this issue before. Hope the dealership can figure it out for you without too much hassle.

I'm assuming the fob battery has been changed. Tried using the other key for a while?

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Factory immobilzer is only when you are starting the car.. it will not disable the car after it’s started.. That is why if you open the door and walk away after it’s started it will remain running.. I suspect you have a different problem that is causing you at to turn off.. Since it only happens on a turn, maybe harness getting pinched or something
