I just got another survey from Kia. There was SO much info in it and took about 30mins to complete.

It had color, options and best of all PRICES! You guys can look through the whole album, I tried to take screenshots of everything. Keep in mind this is just a survey and none of this is set in stone... But this was an awesome look at the Stinger, I'm so hyped up right now!

Full Album.

The most exciting stuff is the "prices" of the GT and non-GT, the different option packages and how they might include a "GT" styling add-on kit!

Please share; my car was not on the list where they asked for the car I was currently driving, so I wasn't allowed to access the rest of the survey. I feel cheated.

Sean, Can't you post the link to the survey or give more screenshots?

I suspect that there's no way to re-access this survey once completed, but I'd love to know what features of the car it asked questions about--from the memories of those of you who completed it. Was it focused primarily on the features that will be offered on U.S. models, or on how the car will be marketed here?

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
If Kia is doing a buyer survey middle of June, one can't see the Stinger appearing in the showrooms in 4Q17. No discernible movement at the dealers in terms of training of mechanics, marketing materials, and sales training. Can all this be done during July, August, and September? fat chance.

In the second screen shot, under Stinger Options List, the top line was cut off. Does it refer to Lumbar support?

Nevermind, I found the answer in the survey. Thanks for posting this information. This options list may be tentative, but if Kia follows this packaging in the showrooms, it'll be simpler than the bundling of options by BMW. Just curious why Kia doesn't make LED lights standard, given the attention the insufficiency of headlights in different brands being given by the insurance safety agencies. Halogen lights are abysmal by any measure, and here is a great opportunity for Kia to stake out high ground.

Interesting that the 15 speaker HK system is "included" and not an option.

A quick scan shows no mention of ventilated seats, auto stop/start, HUD or Driver Attention Alert.

When I looked further into this (check out Full Album in Sean's initial entry above), I found that there's also a $49k GT3 version, and it would have HUD, ventilated seats, and a lot of other goodies. I'd hoped not to spend quite that much, but , dang, I want those features.

Didn't scroll far enough. Thanks for the heads up.

$51,200 for a "loaded" Stinger seems to make that "under 50K" notion the Kia reps were throwing around appear to be less than the truth. I guess their "loaded" doesn't include a heated steering wheel or AWD.

The Acura TLX undercuts it by a pretty big margin and stays the value leader in the lux segment.

Driving where it's warm and mostly dry year-round, I didn't consider the AWD and heated steering wheel. But does the TLX come with HUD? And isn't it under 300 hp? But still, a value.

When I hear the term "loaded" I assume every option box has been checked (I don't expect it to include accessories). If options are left on the tsble then they can use the term "very well equipped".

The Acura does not have a HUD and it uses a NA 290 hp V6. So performance wise, the Kia walks away. Fuel economy, the reverse is likely true.

But those trade offs come at a $5450 discount, in the Japanese brand's favor. Which is substantial when its a lux brand vs. a bargain brand. I also don't know if this is as high as the price goes. Does this Kia price include destination? In some other markets there is an up charge for certain paint colors. Not sure how Kia will handle that in the US.

In addition, high end Kia's (Cadenza, K900) tend to tank in value pretty quickly.

Lastly, a loaded Lexus IS350 AWD F-Sport is $160 less. I "hoped" it would tie the Acura but didn't have high confidence. I was "sure" it would undercut the Lexus and I am now a bit taken aback.

Kia
Basic: 5 years / 60,000 miles
Powertrain: 10 years / 100,000 miles

Acura
Basic: 4 years / 50,000 miles
Powertrain: 6 years / 70,000 miles

I don't plan on keeping my car for such a long period of time as to take advantage of such a warranty, but if I did, I suspect I could get an extended warranty for the Acura (that covers more than just the powertrain) for less than $5500. My Acura warranty will also transfer to the new owner. My Kia warranty will not.

Yep, about to point this out. I really hope these are options and not only on the highest version, I want these features too...

Disappointing to think that you'd need AWD to get the advanced safety features...unless the two packages are available separately. I know with some current models, especially Genesis, you need to take all of the "lower" packages to get all of them.
