Look s like my car is the only one having issues with the stage 2 tune revision, so I will put back on 2 secondary cats and see if my problem changes back to no over boost or spooling:)

You just need a JB4 with ewg control. Our new wastegate logic is light years ahead of anything else out and fully user customizable. :)
 
I appreciate you keeping us updated along the way, @Arnie War .

I just wish I could see some dyno's of this tune with an FBO (minus primary DP's) Stinger or G70.

I am discourage not being able to have this waste gate values tuned to match the faster flow ,,and the tuner at Classified doesn't have the software for this ECU tweak ,but he has tuned these problems out of Japanese and German cars, so we decided for now to add to secondary cats back on board ,, this whole ordeal was not Cheap <<<< to say the least !! This to my knowledge has only happed to my car as they said they tuned hundreds with the same Mods ,, and they thought I had before a JB4 ,, but all I have was a RS race chip ! The Pressertech tune over all was very good and smooth:)

I try to stay pretty neutral and always honest but there is no way in hell Presser Tech has 100 Stinger tunes and saying the jb4 (Race Chip) broke something that would cause overboost is just silly.
Well I will get Two high flow cats to hold the Back pressure a little bit that should solve the issue , I guess I was the only one perhaps with this Issue being too much flow , and with out pounding the throttle to the floor, things worked great with my new 2 tunes :) OH yeah it was said before the my primary cats were off the car , so I had Classified Motorsports owner check it himself and yes those primary Cats , are in fact very much on my Stinger Gt lol

Your original sin was not getting a JB4 and you're going to be paying the price until you do with money and time wasted. Because until you can log the car to see what is really going on, you're just flying blind.
 
So this shop you took your car to get this tune applied, they didn't get you before and after dyno results?

Not trying to beat a dead horse here bud, but... the ECU's are not something that is easy to tune. I have been working on Stage 2 for 12 + months because I need to get testing and verification done before I release a tune that causes massive issues.

Nothing against Pressertech, or any tuner (other than a piggy backs). But... this car/ECU is a total pain in the ass to keep from triggering safe mode and limp conditions.

I hope they can get you some dyno results with the Stage 2, would be nice to see some good results from another tuner.
Just got another another ECU revision and the exact same thing happens after a launch, so I will put two cats back on or try to get to you when the weather is better and my summer tires are put back on the car :) thx John for the advice over the last year , dam these cars can be touchy indeed:)
 
What is Pressertech telling you about your issues? Are they sticking with the "JB4 is the problem" argument?

There never was a JB4 ever on my car lol

I know that. But they said a JB4 probably damaged the car. So my question is what are they saying NOW?

For now I am still trying to get things right and here it is a long weekend, so the shop that is looking after things for me , has been off duty for the holiday,
But I will keep what ever I find out posted :) just for the record with the exception of hitting hard at full throttle, the Pressertech tune works very well for me unless it floored at launch lol
 
No offense whatsoever to anyone, but I feel that for a $1,200+ tune they should really be diagnosing and fixing things for you, not cutting back your boost target and blaming piggybacks. This is unfortunate, as I really like PRESSERTech. :(

For me it would be a pretty big deal if any tune I put on my car didn't work as advertised, 100% of the time, in all situations. Don't allow yourself to be blinded by loyalty to them. Force them to make it right and if they're unable to correct the issue request a refund.
