Hello, I was recently told by a salesperson that the GT AWD models are limited to even less top end speed than the RWD due to the torque vectoring system. I am surely upset about that, since I was not told. Does anyone know if this is true???? TIA

I'm normally not that guy, but use the search feature. I don't mind answering your question, but these useless threads just pollute the forum making it difficult to find information for others in the future. Any speed limitations are due to the speed rating of the all-season tires, not the torque vectoring system. Your salesperson needs to up his game.

My canadian car (all canadian cars are awd) came with 19'' michelins, therefore the speed will be the same as a rwd stinger that also has 19'' michelins. I think the confusion comes from some us spec model having awd and 18'' factory rims

Thank you!

My US spec 2020 has 19s as well. Not sure how they decided what cars got what wheels but I can confirm mine doesn’t shut off at 130Mph.

Where do you drive that would possibly let you exercise the Stinger's top end speed? Let us all know so we can stay away from you!

Why, the average back road of course.
