Hey guys the ECU is now reinstalled, oil changed and as it is now dark out all I could do was drive the car home :)
Now from the mechanic and Owen both are from Classified Motorsports , took the car for a test run before I was able to get it after my work and they both had the same expression on the face when said quote: The car is F**king fast and the mechanic who drove my Stinger before with the Piggy back set race mode said Pressertech was indeed Impressive !! That all I got for now until I can give it my performance test lol and later with DRAGY numbers, oh yeah they gave me plastic chrome Pressertech Badge :) which I will find a place for when I get a chance he he and it was tuned to match all my mods :)
Sorry this is all I have for you so far ⛽⚡

Guys, I think the following is important, please read to fully understand what pressertech is offering:

Piggyback (emulator tunes) are great, I loved my JB4! Todd and Scott from pressertech would kick me if I tried to knock them, that’s not what they are about.

they are also not about having the biggest numbers, fastest track times!

they are about the sweet spot, they spent months of testing to find that sweet spot. For Pressertech the sweet spot is, (Scott and Todd’s message to me)

To provide a comprehensive reliable tune that is native to their car. We want the customer to be thrilled overall with our tune but we will not compromise our standards just to beat the next guy. Why is this important? Well most people keep their cars a while... They don’t want mechanical issues, they don’t want failing turbos, they don’t want a broken transmission, they want a tune that gives them an “in your backside” thrill of a ride that will last them the life of their car. That’s what we developed with the Stinger Tune after months of testing and looking at live data. The Stinger is an awesome platform and is definitely capable of more in the short term, longevity is something else.

I read on some custom tune sites about “bricking the ECU”, when I asked Scott about this he could not remember the last time that happened and simply said
“Chris, if that were to happen I would walk back there, grab a brand new ECU and we would set that one up for you”

MisterMac has more than 20k on his tune and still loves it! I drove with a jb4 for a year, it’s a beast, I hated the piggyback nature and all the wires.

I absolutely love my presertech tune!! The power through almost the whole curve is there, the response is way better than stock and a piggyback, I took off my throttle controller which I kept with the JB4 and had on last two cars. First time in 10 years not used one.
Power at 40mph, 70mph is impressive, the responsiveness makes it even more fun!

I got exactly what I wanted and I’m 100% confident in the safety, quality...the “sweet spot” of their native tune.

Oh and by way, my mpg went from 17-18 in city to 20+, same improvement on hwy!

Subjective day to day driving impressions are important too! What’s this thing feel like in all modes at half throttle normal driving etc. thanks!

Day to day in normal feels same with exception of the throttle feeling “quicker” to respond. I slow down to take a turn, 15mph hit on the gas for normal acceleration and 0 throttle lag.
In sport it is way more responsive at start and anywhere in between.
At half throttle you really feel the tq.

Yes day to day , from my drive home it seemed much smoother, I flicked on sport mode for a bit and hit a few light taps on the gas which seems a lot more responsive and I think the shifter Perimeter s has be tweeted as well :) just gave it a good shot In sport mode and it hit 140 k very quick on my way to work and it was dark and wet he he

Something was definitely changed in sport, way better than stock sport with or without a piggyback

In my review (the other thread) I describe it as making it feel like the car propels itself along with less effort.

After over a year, and having driven my daughter's 'vette a little, I would now say it makes it feel like there is a much larger engine under the hood. She actually thinks my Stinger feels even more responsive.

It's all technological trickery, but that's what initial reviews of the Stinger said anyway. It's just how modern engines work.

What's the max boost pressure with the stage 2 tune? 20psi?

Quick update:: I tired a launch before work yesterday , and at -7 at 6:50 am perhaps the colder weather and dense air , made my car go into limp mode for a bit , then , then changed road s and , as I was up at 30 k , I hit it hard again and the tune did it job and gained quickly to 180 k , just as side since the secondary cat were removed with the new secondary down pipes these has even my PIGGY back , the tune has improved the way the car takes the fuel indeed :)

Do a light acceleration in normal and switch to sport during a light/normal Accel, you will tell see what time does in sport if you try this:)

I am thinking about putting the 2 cats back on but only thinking of it for now lol
The Pressertech tune is great TBH very quick acceleration at a roll :)

I added honeycomb resonators to my midpipes, I had a bit of drone, did not want cats back so added these and perfect.

I might just do something that just slows up my exhaust flow a little :) under heavy throttle he he
