Texas Stinger Swarm
JT Intakes. Hands down the best quality, it is enclosed and great performance increase, and makes cool noises as well, but that is true for most aftermarket intakes as well.

I know I am back to getting Agency.Be a tight fit for my trash can, especially on passenger side where the filter pretty much rests against that mesh covered hose. View attachment 37606
Has Agency sorted out the issue with the filters just falling off during regular use? I heard that was happening to guys running that intake, something about no matter how much you tighten the filters they would eventually work themselves loose and fall off.I know I am back to getting Agency.
I agree and if money is no object than I’d probably go with the JT.JT Intakes. Hands down the best quality, it is enclosed and great performance increase, and makes cool noises as well, but that is true for most aftermarket intakes as well.

Not specifically for injens but the heat shielding I used can be made into a soft wall barrier to block the hot air. Just need to make sure it mostly seals the hot air from the engine so cool air from the front of the car follows the path of least resistance.Any one out there that fashioned heat shields around the injen? Looking for more ideas
But gonna keep some measurements in my head to take a gander whenever I see trash cans for sale
Yup, found out this happened during a random engine bay inspection. Well I guess not all random as I heard some rattle. Anyway the metal rings were still on the filters but they just wiggles freely and had to be tightened again. Just adds more shit to these crappy intakes.Has Agency sorted out the issue with the filters just falling off during regular use? Went to my car this evening for work, started it because it’s 27 and it snowed today (in Texas stupid I know) and the drivers side I take filter wasn’t loose, it was flat OFF, meta ring still tightly around the filter. So it’s freezing, I’m standing in my scrubs fixing something that shouldn’t need fixing. These AP intakes go in the trash once I wake up tomorrow afternoon. I’ll go back to stock. I got these from nick khar and I do not blame him these are just pieces of junk.Yup, found out this happened during a random engine bay inspection. Well I guess not all random as I heard some rattle. If I could return them and buy new ones (AEM, injen, k&m) I would in a heart beat. They are awful.

Got the JT CAIs when they first came out. Don't think Jonny has redesigned them. Paired with the Velossa Tech snorkles, I have constant cool air flowing over the intakes when it matters, while moving. Getting clear covers from Tig soon.I agree and if money is no object than I’d probably go with the JT.
However are you saying they changed their intake system? They Always were completely open on the backside near the turbos. That seems like their biggest drawback and got to imagine hot turbo/engine air would easily be drawn in from that side. Do you have pictures of a sealed version?
This is by far the best looking set up I have seen!!Got the JT CAIs when they first came out. Don't think Jonny has redesigned them. Paired with the Velossa Tech snorkles, I have constant cool air flowing over the intakes when it matters, while moving. Getting clear covers from Tig soon.

I still haven't purchased intakes , waiting to see if I can get the JB4 straight. I still think I am leaning toward agency.
All plastic
Good filters
Heat sheild
Good hp gains
Questionable fitment and expensive

Yes and I’m not the only one who’s had issues with these things.Did you install properly
Fitment issuesHow about Stillen? Seems to be a good compromise between AP and AEM. Unless I'm missing something (which I probably am).
