Wow - this thread was an eyeopener for sure. From what I can see I'm getting rung out by my insurance agent.
Policy is for $1K deductible comprehensive and collision, Liability for $100K/300/100 per person/accident/property, Uninsured for $100K/300/100, driving around 12K miles/year. I'm 34 yrs old, last at-fault accident was when I was 17. I've been with USAA since 2017 and my rate is $1,171 for 6 months! I've heard the Atlanta area having statistically higher insurance rates, but damn.
It was definitely a sticker shock coming from a 2002 Sport Trac that only cost me $45/mo (same company). I'll definitely be doing some shopping around come renewal time in April.
