I’ve not noticed any movement of my tips, but I used my Dewalt impact to tighten the clamps. I used an air impact to tighten the clamps for the exhaust. I don’t believe either are going to be easily moved.

Soooo I bought my SS MBRP from eBay last Friday (Birthday present from my hubby) and it should arrive within the week. I will update once it does arrive (delivery time, condition etc.) for others considering ordering from eBay. I bought from seller Midwest Aftermarket as they had pretty good ratings/feedback on eBay.

This morning I went ahead and bought exhaust tips from Aliexpress in size 63mm out 89mm. I LOVE the blue (Micro Blue Stinger) and the flat black to match my other flat black M&S Skirts. I hope it looks as good as I am envisioning in my head...

Cannot wait to get the MBRP on!!

Anyone had issues with their aftermarket tips rotating over time? One of mine is always misaligned after about 2 weeks, looking for the best material to fill the gap.

Have a shop hit it with a quick tack weld it and it'll never move again

I see a bunch all at the same price of $949 for the SS and $699 for the galvanized. Am I missing it? I already bought mine so I guess it is a moot point now. But just curious.

Start soaking the nuts on the car in PB Blaster now, if you haven't already. Will make it easier.

Box also states model S4704304 which is the SS. It's just the harsh lighting of my garage.

I had my new, smaller tips installed on the car today (63 inlet to 105x75 outlet) and wow, they really make a huge difference to the sound inside. Driving back from the shop, it was quite a bit quieter inside and I didn't hear anything I would describe as drone, and nothing that impacted the quality of the audio system (which the MBRP on its own certainly could). At the same time, when accelerating hard it still sounds aggressive, and the burbles and gurgles are exactly the same. I highly, highly recommend getting some tips installed!

looking nice! did you have to trim the rear to have the tips fit?
