The JB4 Connect Install Guide

All Engine Types Except: N54

1. Insert the Connect Kit’s blue wire through the rubber grommet at the JB4’s harness.

2. Install the Posi-Tap as shown to the right. You can install the Posi-Tap on either red wire at the DB25 connector.

3. Install the DB9 connector and ensure both screws are secure.

4. Put the JB4’s enclosure back together.

5. Ensure the Connect Kit isn’t in direct contact with the metal JB4 enclosure or any other nearby metal. Aim the smaller side of the Connect Kit (circled below) towards the driver’s seat for best signal quality.

Ok so when you connect wirelessly must you also connect the obd2 to dme as well? Or is this only needed when wireless is not used.?

I connected to my Jb4 Wirelessly to my iPhone 8. I’m able to change the Maps however I’m getting no readings from my gauges on my phone anyone have suggestions on how I get the gauges on my phone app to work

First let me admit I have very little knowledge in this realm. Secondly I have researched for hours in an attempt to locate the answer with obviously without success. So I do appreciate your response. Is there a video link on how to properly install the obdII to the dme on KIA stinger?

I installed JB4 today with the Blutooth connect kit. The only readouts I am getting are the Boost and Map.
RPM Ign1 AFR IAT all reading 0 or 0.0 when I drive. Please advise. THank you - EricO!

I had same issue until I plugged the mod OBDII into the slot inside car under dash drivers side

Hmmm. Is that something else I need to order? I did not receive that OBDII. Or I dont think I did?

All have different connects but I believe it should have been included. I’m no expert however mine wireless didn’t register everything on the app until I connected this

OBDII is included with all JB4 systems.
 
Sorry not able to read every thread on here... Email support if you need an OBDII cable.

While I'm here on the blue tooth connect kit we've made some changes also, pinning out the blue power wire to #2 on the DB9 which eliminates the need to posi-tap the JB4 harness. You'll start seeing those show up soon!
