North Texas Stingers

About to pick up a red 19' Stinger GT next week. I live in Lantana, TX, north of Highland Village/Flower Mound area.

Anyone know of a trustworthy speed shop in DFW that is familiar with the Stinger? Thinking of doing some suspension work get rid of that rear end lift/hop. Thanks!

Try Kenny Tran at JoTech in Garland. While they do mostly GTRs they will be the one I use when I upgrade my Stinger GT1.

Redvoo My bestest friend lives in Lantana.....that row of homes on the left as you enter with no garage up front....dunno name of that street with the five or so homes....hes got a red cobra you might have seen around :) Wash
 
Got my 2019 GT2 about 2 weeks ago at Moritz Kia. Thing is, I live in Rowlett and don't want to drive there for service. Where do you guys take your Stingers? Do you like the dealership you go to?

I'm in a similar boat. Bought in Sherman but that's way too far.
Plano is technically the closest but I don't really want to give them my money since their salespeople were so scummy when I was shopping. Any opinions on Classic of Carrollton?

I thought Classic of Carrollton was "scummy" when I contacted them for a purchase.

I rarely enter Lantana from the front since we live in the newest section way in the back of the community. I have seen another Ceramic Silver Stinger driving down Lantana Trail though.
 
Classic in Carrollton is just your typical dealership, not great but awful either. They're frustrating to deal with but you can get a good deal if you know what you're doing. I'd recommend Huffines in McKinney.

I can also recommend Huffines in Mckinney. Bought 3 Optimas and a Cadenza from them and was a good experience each time. I moved 5 hours south or else I would have bought my Stinger with them as well.
 
Guys I bought at Plano Kia.....great deal last year......So took it in to Kia for oil change and fender harness recall,,,brought my own oil and filter.....The big ol dude with the beard worked mine...I watched him from the stairs one level up...he seems to know the drill....gave me my two remaining gals of oil all wrapped in plastic...and guess what? no charge for oil change no labor no nuthin..... btw I told the service guy this car is pristine so I want it back this way.....so we go outside and inspect car from ground up....got it back without a finger print on the hood :) Wash
 
Hey Local DFW Stinger drivers: I have a Stillen Cat-back exhaust for sale (listed here in the classifieds). It wasn't my cup of tea. I only drove it about 250 miles, but Stillen won't take it back. Anyways, if you know of any local Stinger drivers who are interested - please let me know. I really don't want to have to ship these anywhere. Thanks! p.s. if you see a Panthera Metal Stinger GT flying up and down the DNT, give me a wave.
