Federation Orange vs Avery Gloss Orange

Looking at photos on-line, I thought Federation was almost an exact match to my Avery wrap. But when I saw that my local dealer got a GTS in, I went in and parked side-by-side. Federation is much more toward yellow than Avery Gloss Orange. (I had a swatch of Avery Gloss Bright Orange, but I didn't bring it with me. It seemed to me that the Bright Orange would be a much closer match to Federation).

The difference seemed more noticeable in person that what the photos show.

I can see a definite difference in the pics. The bolder, less "washed out" orange is more eye popping. But they both look really good.

I didn't know that the Fed Orange GTS was going anywhere else. Did I miss the memo?

I checked out a GTS the other day... definitely not a bright orange at all. I like your wrap color much better.

Ditto. The wrapped Stinger makes the GTS colour seem a bit dull. Probably wouldn't notice as much if they weren't parked side by side.

I have the GTS Federation Orange and it needs to be just a little brighter to make it stand out/pop. Not complaining thou but it really is a nice/different color.

If you go to YouTube and put in Kia Stinger Federation Orange there are plenty of different color oranges. Some are really nice. But I don’t understand why they are different? Maybe the lighting, etc. who knows

I have pictures of my federation orange GTS, taken on the same day within hours of each other. They look like different shades of orange. The GTS looked darker out in the sun, then it did on the showroom floor.

Yep mine was in the showroom too and it looked awesome but when it got outside it was like a different type of color.

A couple of days ago, I took 4 orange vinyl swatches and laid them on the FO Stinger in Fargo. The 3M bright orange seemed a closer match than the Avery Gloss Orange. I took a photo of the swatches on the car, but just to show the vagaries of photos, on the photo, the Avery orange seemed to be a perfect match! I was going to post the photo, but it was too misleading. I went in to Fargo today to try it again, but either it got sold today or someone had it on a test drive.
