No issues since, but my hood is wrapped neatly in a box.
I'm having a meeting with my Regional Field Tech Manager and The Regional Parts and Service Manager at the shop that painted Kato. We will be discussing this hood vent issue as well as some other repaint issues. Kia has been pretty OK about it thus far, but I know they'll end up becoming more difficult. Luckily, I have serious support at hand in the even they don't want to correct the issue fully and make me whole.
Will do. But they told me they'd repaint the hood. That was almost instantly agreed upon once the regional rep came by.My case was escalated to our regional KIA agent, Jason Henry. Have your regional guy call my regional guy to confirm this is a legit problem!
