If it meets the requirements in your state for showing a plate, and you like the result, go for It! Just be aware of course that if you actually need to use that front tow hook, you'll have to remove the plate.![]()
Yeah I saw that, there were like 12 different placements of the actual plate and I think I picked the one where I am not blocking any airflow (it's hard to tell from the angle of the pic I took but the bottom grill is not obstructed at all) by placing it as far to the left as I could. This was a hot topic last year and several members were concerned that the side placement reduced............................ air intake
Fair enough, and I'm not necessarily taking this to the strip and would consider myself more of a casual owner than anything so this was more of just a personal aesthetic decisionPersonally thing they look a little goofy. Buy hey to each his/her own. Loss of air flow/direction probably not a good thing.
If I didnt have holes drilled I would have done it too , best of all worlds would be no plate imhoFair enough, and I'm not necessarily taking this to the strip and would consider myself more of a casual owner than anything so this was more of just a personal aesthetic decision
Looks too unbalanced.I asked the dealership to not drill the license plate in because I saw a tow hook license plate holder for ~$20 on Amazon and thought it looked super clean. Thoughts?
