Not complaining though, since it could have been MUCH worse; the damage was only cosmetic, since the ladder was laying the long way (north-south). I imagine it would have been much worse had it fallen the other way, though.

Be careful out there lads.....

Ouch !! probably cheap to replace the black fascia and relatively easy to touch up the lower bumper !! could have been much worse as you said !!

Sorry to hear that. The Waze app has saved me from hitting something so many times.

Your dark chrome got dinged too.

If you ran over it down the full length of your undercarriage, you'll want to check the condition of the undercarriage panels.

Also check under at the rear that this vent plug isn’t missing, I lost mine after running over a small roadkill roo.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
How exactly has the Waze app protected you from Road Debris?

People ahead of you can send warnings about objects, traffic, people in uniform on vehicles with sirens... accidents, etc. Obviously the onus is on you still to actually avoid it but the heads-up has also helped me on more than a few occasions.

Damn. I was hoping skynet would drive around it.

Aha, you didn't say before (or I missed it) that you knew how and when your vent plug went missing.
You may have missed that in the thread about the paint or non painting of that area under the battery.

Nope. But you did speculate that maybe a "screwdriver" was used to pry yours off.

Well I stand corrected, I wasn’t aware that every post I make is scrutinised word for word.

Lol. I knew you'd get huffy. Look, it was my thread and the subject is very important to me. And I'm just glad you didn't kill a little roo with your vent plug.

Exactly! On a recent Stinger swarm I was able to inform other Stinger drivers of debris on the road twice based of the warning I received through the waze app..........that could have potentially caused damage to their car

True, and in this case, I saw the sudden brake lights and swerving. Problem was, I had a car on each side and one behind, so I wasn't able to swerve and couldn't slow down and change lanes after one of the others cars passed.

Sucks knowing you're about to have to take a hit; nothing prepares you for an impact at 75 mph.....

Waze is good for cops, potholes and large road kill. A few weeks ago on my way to work I saw a roadkill warning pop up, heavy traffic so I was stuck in my lane when I see what looks like green puke all over the road, I immediately knew that was from a deer, a few seconds later I see this red meat sack right in front of me, I almost cleared it but heard a thud, no damage just hair and blood on lower lip and down the center of the under carriage. Could have really messed me up if 20 other cars hadn’t already tenderize it

Time for a trip to the car wash for an undercarriage spray!?

Ran over what looked like a wooden garden stake going 80mph on Monday, immediately the tire went flat and had to get a new front tire...$300 later. Glad I didn’t have any body or rim damage though.
