The sales manager is incompetent and will try to swindle you by doing bogus things like not including your downpayment in the out the door price. Avoid this place and take a trip to Naperville Kia.

I had a bad experience with them two cars ago lol.

Classic kia is very solid in waukegan and not as far as Naperville lol. I almost struck a deal with Naperville Kia once they even gave me free bulls tickets while we were negotiating lol.

What was bad about your experience with them?

I drove out to buttf*** no where, which is where this dealership is (3 hour round trip) just for him to renege on our deal and pull that crap. I was furious. The place is a the size of a shack too.

Free bulls tickets! Thats awesome! What did you like about Waukegan over Naperville?

Antioch had a bunch of issues but the biggest one was calling me one week after or deal was done to do additional paperwork for financing. Since nothing was done properly I left them the car and went Classic.

The only thing that i liked about Waukegan over Naperville was pricing. Thats what it all comes down to for me. Best Deal.

I am currently in the market for a stinger and live in the NW suburbs of Chicago. Is the only dealer you would recommend Naperville Kia, or is there any other good dealers in northern Illinois?

Raul from Naperville Kia is a good salesman, overall my experience with them was good! They will play hardball at first just like anyone but don't budge and they'll give you what you want if you're offer is reasonable. And as DaBears4lyfe recommended, Classic Kia in Waukegan; however, I haven't personally interacted with them.

I have been to Elmhurst Kia and they don't seem to want to work on price much. And on multiple occasions I have waited in the lobby for 20 minutes without any help, even when the secretary rang on the intercom for a salesman around 5 times. I could see the salesmen shooting the sh** in this room they all gather in.
One of the salesman was upset and told me that he doesn't get paid hourly and I wasted his time lol shoulda chose another profession my dude!

What trim level Stinger are you looking for? I'll DM you what the best sales price I have been able to achieve if our trim levels line up.

I am looking to purchase a 2019 GT2 I would prefer AWD, although RWD would be fine as well, but the 19 inch wheels with performance tires are a must regardless of AWD or RWD. I probably will not purchase anything until the end of this year or even early next year when the 2019's have some discounts, although if I can get a good price I may get one sooner.

You should be able to get a AWD GT2 for 45-46k OTD if you're financing. A little less if you go the lease buyout option.

What about for a AWD GT1? I am at my wits end with the Chicagoland dealers. My last 4 cars have been MB, Acura, and Honda, and all of those negotiating/buying experiences have been (relatively) pleasant. The Kia dealers are on a whole different planet. I can't even get one to give me an OTD price on a GT1 (financed or leased). It's mindblowing how terrible they are.

Naperville Kia has a white AWD GT1 with red interior, I negotiated it to 42K OTD financing, ended up not buying it cause I wanted a different color and would rather wait for the perfect one. Ask for Raul and say you’ll take it today and I bet he’ll give you that deal too. And I agree, I’ve been apart of 100s of car deals and I haven’t had a more crap experience than with kia dealerships. I think it has to do with the fact they are not used to working with more informed consumers as the majority of their volume is low end cars that people will just walk in and buy.

I was actually in Naperville today and passed by the Kia dealer but I did not have the time to stop in. How difficult would it be to find a GT2 AWD in ceramic silver?

There’s surprisingly a bunch around our area! Elmhurst has 2 I believe! Just do a search on Cars.com and you’ll find plenty.

I have used cars.com before but I find that some of the specs are wrong, for example in the specs it says white when you can clearly see in the picture it is ceramic silver, which makes it difficult to search for what I am looking for. I also have a hard time figuring out which cars have the 19 inch wheels.

Most times they get the color correct. I’ve noticed they often mess up interior color but the exterior color should be accurate 99% of the time. Only way to tell online is to see what tires are on the car, if they have the a picture of the wheel, see if it has the potenzas (18s) and if it has Michelin then it’s 19s.
