Could anyone give me a guide to removing the rear diffuser -the glossy black plastic piece at the bottom back which surrounds the exhaust tips?
Cheers!

Drill out the rivets on the bottom corners, push/pull out the pressure clips, remove screws as you encounter them. So on and so forth.

It was under the black trim near the wheel well sandwiching the rear quarter panel and the black trim (90 degree visible only from under). One on each side (at least on my 18). Maybe only on 18’s. I didn’t get why they had it. It was a pita.

Is it a metal rivet? Did you replace it with something else?

Metal. Nope. I think it was their attempt to appease a regulator that there was no way the black trim could come off. (Like every screw/pressure clip would fail).

Yep. I’ll try to get a pic later today if the spot.
That would be great. I'm trying to find time over the next few days to tackle this.

There's definitely rivets, one on the lower left and right side. I had to rip my diffuser off in a parking garage after I got rear ended so I could drive it home.

I have a diesel Stinger. It comes with only two exhaust tips on the right. I’m going to change the diffuser and add two tips to the left.
the GT OEM Difusser has 2 tips on each side ( attached )
