• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Anyone live in the DFW Metroplex? If so, further questions will follow. :)

Yes.

Anywhere near Southlake or Euless area? That is where I have seen the most Stingers.

I was going to ask if you had found a spot to use your launch control or if you have heard anything about Apex driving academy. They take you out on a track and teach you how to drive at high speeds etc.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Hey guys I’m not sure if y’all know but there is a meet with all Texas stinger in San Antonio June 1st. Might sound repetitive but I want to make sure everyone has the opportunity of knowing. If y’all are interest please join.

I live in Hurst. You might try somewhere out on Trinity Boulevard on the weekend or on Randall Mill West of 820 on Sunday. It is so congested in this area it is hard to drive our cars at any level that is fun.

I’m on the south side of Arlington. Some of the more rural roads can be fun for handling, but nothing high speed.

Appreciate the reminder. Unfortunately already had plans that weekend!

The Trinity Blvd that runs between 360 and Babydolls? How’s that for a landmark?

I test drove a Honda down there off 20 and the guy took me to an office/factory building basically right next door to the dealership. The parking lot was gigantic and empty but probably still not big enough. At least not if you want to stop. :D

That’s probably too far for me but if I’m ever in the area....

Thanks for the input.

I used to live in the useless area a while back. There are plenty of places to try out LC; the service roads along 360, those roads leading east to the airport (all but deserted at night), the service road leading from 114 to texan trail (and if you go left over the bridge and take the exit leading back to 114, there's enough room to get a good long run in; I may or may not have done a 1/4 mile run once in my old car). If you go into grapevine, there's 26 and 2499; you can sometimes catch those deserted at night too.

Like I said, plenty of places, you just have to be strategic. I liked the service roads because they're one way and, in some areas, no risk of someone turning in front of you. Basically any road where I can see clearly no one is ahead or approaching, and where I have time to stop if I need to (ie., if I spot a police SUV).

Good luck and enjoy.
