• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Australia-Specific Kia Stinger Discussion

I’d go a little harder on that price & get them to throw in GT Floor Mats, Rear Cargo Mats, F & R Mud Flaps, Window Tint & Paint & Leather protection. Plus a full tank of fuel.
Throw all that at them & remember it’s a 2018 build, don’t let them bluff you because in their world that car is a year old.

Agree with Manaz and SGTSS. Plus, if you can, hold off for a month because the EOFY sales will be starting soon. Whereabouts in Brisbane are you? I’m in Birkdale.

Peter Warren Kia Warwick farm had 2 specials on in recent months each time 4 cars all Gt's $58,500 from memory and I think no km's.

Thanks guys, just thought the $58,990 was a pretty good deal reading the history of this thread and looking what others ended up paying especially when you have to pay extra for snow white pearl or black.

The original plan was to test drive in April and then wait EOFY to see what was on offer, might have to do like you say and keep to the original plan (ie wait EOFY) if $58K seems the standard drive away price (although some dealers I rang today were telling me $65K is the standard lol). I'm in Carindale.

Or if you’re not in a rush wait until after 1st July and see what they offer for the MY2020, I doubt there’ll be big upgrades but there’s usually some slight differences between MY models. If you jump now push them for a 2019 build not a 2018 unless you get a lot more off the price and you’re happy with the 2018.

$61k Max with the bimodal, mats, mudflaps, dashmat.
No more than $700 extra for ceramic. Blame the wife for the price budget and they can’t argue with you then and be prepared to walk regardless. Shop end of month (day 30/31) or wait til EOFY. They will give you what you asked. Cars are way cheaper in QLD than WA and that deal you can get here in PERTH for a 2019 build so if it’s an 2018 build $58k drive away with the lot but go in $1000 lower in each case so you get the price you’re expecting. Otherwise get a car broker to do it for a fee. Either way you can’t lose.

Bloke I was helping on facey told me he settled for this :

My19 2000km demo+ exhaust+ ceramic tint+ boot mat+ mats+ dash mat and an umbrella. 8 months rego n full tank. 57500

I personally paid $56,560 for a MY18.5 (updated screen and LED's but Conti's) demo 3k on the clock with mats and boot liner in Jan. I thought it was reasonable at the time.

Thanks AV8R, Coast and basysmith for the additional responses, really helps. Gives me an idea and peace of mind of what to expect as a median price range and also what to negotiate for.

Went for a test drive of the Stinger GT today and I must say I was impressed, more shocked at the head snapping back as I fully pressed down on the pedal. Hoping to join you boys in the Stinger club before not too long. Just hoping to get your opinions if it's not too much trouble. For an CK MY19 (build date October 2018) got offered $58,990 drive away (not including extras or bi-modal exhaust) in snow white pearl with 25KMs on the clock, what do you think of this price? What extras did you go for at the dealership?

Not sure if it would interest you but this is in the Facebook marketplace, located in Newcastle.

This is probs a more " female thing " as generally females tend to like cute useless things.
Males tend to be more "practically minded " and as @Ozstung once said " the voice of reason " :p
I came home with Mr Bumble, with the intention of placing him on the dash or back of the Stinger.
My hubby gives me the " really ??? " look and advises...".it's a hatch so no-one will see it from the back, the Stinger is a sleek, racy, tough looking car, you don't want to put stuffed animals in it " ....so Mr Bumble is next to my pillow in the bedroom. Thoughts ?? better not in the car ?

Hi there @Flameangel , like you said about the white Stinger with the blue stripe on the RHS of the front bonnet " each to their own ", it is a more " female thing ", and your a female, and whatever you do too your Stinger , will add that , let's say womanly touch to your Stinger, an even rarer sight on the roads, anyway just a thought.

So.....I have found something better, it will give a feminine touch and I can hang it from the rearview mirror....

Looks nice, but would it swing around too much with the movement of the car while driving and turning corners ? Maybe you should consider custom number plates, whatever combination you choose, I am sure all of us here have the patience to wait to see them on your Stinger.;):whistle::):rofl:

I have two plush toys on my dash, like you a bee and a scorpion. This weekend "We" will be going to the honey shop at Mudgee again so I expect the others to buy plush bees there is a big range:D.

Lol I would keep it on a short chain so it doesn't hit me in the face as I'm taking off and racing around corners
