GT or GT1?

I don't want a sunroof, especially the ones on this car that seem to have a tendency to raise issues.
Only here, where people come to ask what the heck is going and meet each other. In the wide world of Stingers, clearly the vast majority either do not have extraneous noise issues "issuing" from their sunroofs, or possibly most people don't expect more than what they got. Since the Stinger seems to have appealed to enthusiasts, I'm going with the theory that very few sunroofs are noisy.

Stinger GT or GT1?
Convince me it's worth spending the extra $ for the GT1 :)
Unless you have to have a sunroof, the HK sound system, or ceramic silver, go with the GT and save the extra $5K - $6K. To me and many other Stinger owners, the two most important things that attracted me to this car are the looks and the motor/performance. Everything else are added bonuses. Some don't have a budget, so they end up getting the GT2. But cars are continuously improving, inside and out. There's always going to be new features added in the near future that will entice buyers to spend more. Had I bought a 2018 GT2, I'd be wishing I had a 2019 GT2 with the 360 camera...when the 2020 model eventually debuts, I'll probably wish I had a fully loaded 2020 with some of its newer features. It never ends.

Ultimately, go with whatever makes you happiest. GT or GT1, you'll guaranteed be driving one of the best cars you've ever owned.

A sensible perspective. Tech improves. But if we wait for better tech, we'll never buy another new car. I wanted the ride NOW. And the past year has been a heckuva ride. I'm totally satisfied with my trim and the timing in my life. Waiting for better/more is just plain stupid, imho, of course!

Be that as it may, I still wouldn't want one. If a sunroof was standard on the GT, it wouldn't turn me away, but in the past I've forgotten sunroofs existed on cars. I just never cared for them and my point of it remaining a feature I don't value enough to pay extra for still stands. If I wanted open-top driving that badly I'd go get a convertible...which if Fiat's handling by FCA as a brand in North America wasn't such a train wreck, there's a very real chance I'd be in one.

Yes but you have AWD and I'm hoping I don't regret not getting that :)
Well it's a toss up. AWD = no wheel spin. RWD = wheel spin and some wheel squealing drifting fun.

Also the current available springs look better on AWD then RWD to me

Can't look up and see the moon if you don't have a moonroof. Also, no ambience with the outside, etc.
Can't have a sunroof rattle, if you don't have a sunroof ;)
