Anyone know of any companies offering or working on an axle back valved exhaust system that allows you to change between open mufflers or restrictive mufflers? I see some axleback options but nothing electronically valved.

You might have better luck with a custom build with you supplying a valved muffler. I think @KLR STINGER has something custom with Varex mufflers?

I agree with Brancky I would just make your own using some Varex Mufflers. I have them on my XForce Set up and they work nicely.

Do you have catless midpipes too? I was curious what it sounds like with xforce mufflers.

The xforce comes with catless midpipes.

I have the lap 3 primary downpipes so im catless but its not worth it unless you get your car tuned or have a lap3 pro tuner. I even tried putting on some 200 cell hfc and it still a headache.

If you keep your primary cats it's a good deal.

Jun bl evc is awesome I have it on my stinger with the mid pipes. Closed it’s just as quiet as stock and open it’s loud but not to loud.

My Dyno with SSR intakes and Xforce exhaust, 367hp to the wheels and 420ftlbs.

I think it's a great deal to get the secondary cat delete and exhaust for $1200.

Did you get dyno before exhaust if so what where the numbers

Sorry, no I did not, but I would say the exhaust probably adds 35hp at least. Mainly due to the secondary cat delete.

Here are my runs after jb4. 442whp is with the valves open map2, 434 is closed map2, 412whp is map 1 closed, and 367 is pretune.

Do you have fuel wires? Your AF looks very rich up top

Yes, that's with wires. I may not have the latest firmware though.

Good to see the open muffler still makes a little power with the tune. That 8 hp is looking like it could be more than a down pipe and mid pipe combined.

I'm not following you there.

We now have dyno and dragy data on multiple cars that show the mid and down pipes add almost no hp on a tuned car but do put up the big numbers as advertised on a stock boost car. Its good to see the muffler still adds 8 even when tuned. People have been gobbling up mid pipes and skipping the catback and the catback adds more HP than the mid and dp combined.
We should have figured this out sooner when the catless cars weren't putting up the 1/4 mile times they should.

Xforce includes catless midpipes

What results are those? The dyno numbers that I saw with JB4 mode 2 were significantly lower than mine with only intakes, surely my SSR intakes are not producing that much more HP. I have an open mind but it seems a little illogical to think that somehow that the Stinger is the exception when it comes to performance gains through the removal of cats.

Drag/Accelleration - Kia Stinger 1/4 Mile Times
Bottom dyno is the 3 hp gain with down pipes that add 30-40 not tuned.
I have 2 before and after 0-60 in 3.89 second runs from on the same day before and after SSRs.
