Texas Stinger Swarm
Have not heard anything. Will send an email tomorrow to find out.
I agree. They do not work as fog lights. They do look very nice in low light or night time though.
In my opinion, they should have used more powerful LEDs, and rather than use white frosted perspex they should of gone with clear perspex to allow more light to go through it.
Depending on how much light the clear perspex let's through, you may not need to upgrade the LEDs at all.
One day I might make up my own prototype with clear perspex and brighter LEDs, and use the wiring kit from the old one.
Here's mine.

@Rango you are correct on your wire assignment.
The end with the round capacitor goes to the harness on your car the other end (with the square) goes to the DRL.
Let me know if you need additional information.

they look good, regardless if they are effective as fogs or not. anyway, wouldn't they be considered more of a driving light than fog lights?I agree. They do not work as fog lights. They do look very nice in low light or night time though.

They definitely don't match exactly but they are close looking in colour. You can tell there's a difference but they still look good I think. I installed mine in August 2018 and still working fine no issues.I just came across your pic and I have a quick question. How closely do the aftermarket DRLs match the color of the factory DRLs? Your picture makes it look incredibly similar, but I've seen other pictures that make it look considerably different. Also, are they still running fine now that you've had them installed for a while?
Yeah definitely not effective as fog light. They don't have good beam focus and are not bright enough. There more just a accessory light but definitely increases the visibility of your car for other drivers in dusk/dawn and night of course.they look good, regardless if they are effective as fogs or not. anyway, wouldn't they be considered more of a driving light than fog lights?
I have the same problem with the wire being different colors. I have the yellow limited edition GT Stinger RWD. I managed to get the white Led light to work but I wasnt able to figure out where to connect the amber colored light wire. So the it will single with the hazard light and turn single light. Can someone help me out?So I just installed the DRLs on my AWD GT, and I noticed I don’t have the same colored wires on my light harness, mostly no read. I also have the gray, white, purple wires on the DRLs. Any suggestions on what to hook up to on the car side?
So it's basically the two top right wires and the middle far left wire on both. See below.I have the same problem with the wire being different colors. This is the left side (as sitting in the car looking forward). (ignore the green wire. I made a mistake there). I had two white wires coming from this sides DRL so I just matched it with the other side which has white, grey & purple.

Hopefully this helps.
Good luck.
I finally had time to attach the wires for the DRL, but it doesn't have the wire at the right side of the top row of the head lights. Is it a different wire on my Stinger GT limited edition. So it's basically the two top right wires and the middle far left wire on both. See below.

I can't help you there. Do you have the halogen globe headlights? That would explain the difference. Mine are the LED headlights.I finally had time to attach the wires for the DRL, but it doesn't have the wire at the right side of the top row of the head lights. How did you connect them? I had the same problem with the wires being different colors.I fingered it out and got them done. They look great.View attachment 21116 View attachment 21116 View attachment 21116
