Looking at intake and a few visual things

Edited: removed the LED Daytime Running Lights, evaluating the Injen or possibly the JT depending on what JT comes back w/ for shipping costs. Added ADD W1 V3.3 - Baffled Dual Inlet Oil Catch Can Kit

Edit: going with the JT intake and I'll get the lights a little later .

Final Edit: bought all of it hah.

Thanks everyone for the feedback (and pushing me towards the JT intake) --- will have to post pics once i get started after this cold goes away :)

1. Good choice, a definite in my book, saw them yesterday on a Stinger & thumbs up.
2. Nice if that’s the badge theme you want to go with it, will look good.
3. LED DRL’s look OK, but some members have fitted them & are a little disappointed,
IMHO - Pass.
4. If that’s a mod you want, go for it.

I've heard the same thing about the DRL upgrade, I may pass on that for now. Such a good concept but I remember them saying the LED bars are a little bulky...

Intake I'm looking for more on the sound side, but also debating BOVs instead to get that turbo noise.

I would go with an intake that has heat shielding. e.g. agency power, aem.

was looking at the agency power one, so many to evaluate a purchase on. the STILLEN intake looks good too, you have the BMS one, that doesn't have any heat shielding. still not convinced either way on the heat shielding.

Agree on the intake, a shield definitely helps isolate the filter from the heat of the engine. Have you looked at the JT intake?

the JT intake does look awesome, I can't bring myself to pay $900 for an intake though :(, plus doesn't look like any local dealers in the US carry, so have to have it shipped to the US and adds even more $$ to the purchase.

The very first mod you should do is an oil catch can. You want to minimize the carbon buildup on your intake valves as much as possible to avoid having to walnut blast them.

BMS... No heat shield... Hmmmmm....

Agree on that there are no US vendors that carry it. However the price for it is nowhere near $900.

I'm guessing then the price on the site is $950 AUD and not USD? :D that'd make a big difference lol. Might be reconsidering that then hmmm. Just pinged on FB for what pricing would be :)

catch can seems like a good addition. adding to my list.

Correct...the price on their website is on AUD.

I was thinking the larger version of heat shielding, not just the one on the back, but the ones that almost fully surround.

With all the catch can talk on here does anyone have any photo evidence just how much they've been collecting with their catch cans?

Alright. Decided... JT intake it is! So prob going to do the Oil Catch can and the JT intake first. Then I'll do the tail LEDs :)

I would do ceramic coating as soon as possible even before the intake. If they dont have to do paint correction it is much more economical. It will save you a ton of time in future washes.
