Yeah, I thought it might sit high or look very obvious. It turn out much better than I expected. You can’t even tell when looking up close.I don’t like the way they stick up above the emblem. I had a set but sent them back. Yours look ok.
Only time will tell. The 3M tape seems super strong. Before attaching, I sprayed about 6 coats of clear enamel on it. Maybe that will protect it a little more. It’s only $20, so if it only lasts 3-6 months, I’ll just stick a new one on there.Wonder how these skins hold up after power washing or rain etc..
Yah.. I just picked up my new car from the dealer but u made them change a the emblems on the front n rear, as well as the centre rim badges before delivering the car to me... I’m extremely hesitant to remove the KIA badge entirely, because a body shop pulled up paint removing the rear badge and ended up repainting the whole rear panel.
I called 4 different Kia dealers in my area, but none of them would remove the rear badge because they didn’t want to take responsibility if they messed up the paint. And of course...the body shop messed up the paint. It looks absolutely perfect now, and they only charged me $50.Yah.. Stinger storeWhere did you purchase these?
Mine do. And freezing. I haven't seen any sign of loosening so far. I got the exact same skins from Sal, front and rear.Wonder how these skins hold up after power washing or rain etc..
Took it through the car wash today. Everything is holding up great, including the “GT” wheel hub stickers. I really like look of them, even though they just stick on.Mine do. And freezing. I haven't seen any sign of loosening so far. I got the exact same skins from Sal, front and rear.
How long have you had them on?I used a vinyl overlay that fits inside the chrome rim...

Ok okHah! See? (below)Told ya.
Yes, these metal skins actually fit right into/inside the chrome surround for a flush/level look. They look as good as the high quality replacement emblems...
Still stuck up higher than badge. Not my bag, would like it flush. If the edges where feathered more it would be better.Ok ok![]()
