I looked at the following....

GTI ( i already was leasing one and they raised the price of the lease way too much )
Golf R (vw thinks it's made of gold, screw that)
Mustang EcoBoost ( felt heavy and not nearly as fun as I thought it'd be )
Mustang GT ( never drove it, depreciation is so massive the leases suck )
Infiniti Q50 ( super good lease, didn't have heated seats in LUXE trim )
Camaro 2.0 L ( drove better than Mustang, but visibility was terrible )
Genesis G70 ( LOVED THAT CAR. Over my budget and could use the extra back seat room of the.........

STINGER 2.0L ( Didn't have too much issue with the engine, but transmission was not to my liking )
STINGER GT ( Hard to find inventory by color, but found one! )

I looked at the following:
-Subaru WRX, Underwhelmed me nothing really seemed special about it and performance was lackluster, almost no features compared to stinger
-Civic Type R, I'm a bigger guy and the car was too uncomfortable as the seat bolsters are VERY aggressive and not comfortable
-Audi S3, for the price it didn't offer as much as the stinger and overall maintenance was going to be much higher.
-Audi A4, at the time I had a B8.5 Audi A4 sport and while a new A4 was really nice I was looking to step into something more next level in terms of performance.
-Focus ST, this was pretty terrible and I knew instantly it would be off my list after seeing it in person
-Golf R, car doesn't seem big enough for what I needed to do

mrs tried out several mustangs, from an ecoboost (she liked it, I cringed) to a gt (both loved it, but we see one everywhere) to a Shelby (both really loved it, but I didn't feel like breaking her out of jail every couple of days because of her speeding)
a couple of challengers, and r/t and an srt. really liked both cars, but they handle like crap and she found the car too ponderous for spirited driving. she only stands 5'0". with heels on.
she didn't want a camaro because the sightlines are horrible, and she likes mustangs.
a kia soul ! + in burnt orange. yeah I didn't understand that one until I drove one. actually quite nice. I had bought her a juke Nismo so was kind of used to the odd layout/cuv aspect.
a caddy cts-v. that was my choice. she didn't like it. oh well.
and, like I had posted when we first bought it, she had sat in 2 different stingers, a base and a gt2 and didn't like either car. but, when she saw the stinger in yellow, that was the car she wanted.

These are awesome stories being shared.....I'm trying my best to be patient with my strategy..... but boy it's tough....

Quick story, guy on YouTube (new car guy?) Has a review of the BMW 440i gran coupe.....nice car....but I threw at him a stinger gt vs it and A5/S5 sportback......he writes back , NO! It was loose and clumsy on the track....

I said, do you think most of your viewers are really concerned with tracking any of these cars? Better warranty, faster, more room ,less money....

He hasn't responded! Lol
#badgesnob
