"Proper prep and allowing time to cure with this kind of paint is fine. Much more forgiving than automotive paint. Even gone through auto-touchless high pressure car wash."
Prep was minimal (since again, this isn’t automotive paint which would require significantly more effort... sanding, tack cloth, and then wet sanding after... and the badges were new).
Wiped down with rubbing alcohol.
3 light coats of adhesion promoter (20 minutes apart).
Light tack coat of paint.
4 wet (not overly saturated) coats.
All 20 minutes apart.
Allowed to dry for a few hours.
Carefully transferred indoors to cure in humidity controlled room.
Waited 6 days to install.
