The bastards!Hit and run today. What a scum bag.
your right, it is a game of strategy, I try to park a little away from others, still got my rear door bumped the other day, gee I was mad.I don't park next to people movers because they normally have half a dozen kids that fly out off cars and aren't careful about " flying doors " I don't park next to old crappy looking ones because I think you don't care about your car , your'e certainly not going to care about mine. I try to park next to Audi's, BMW's etc because you know the owners like and take care of their car's so their not going to risk damaging it by doing something to yours.I will concur that parking is a game of strategy. Open spots vs. Between a couple "nice" cars. Minivans are a variable because sliding doors mean no dings, but also mean kids with not spacial awareness and touchy fingers. And yes to corners being dangers with cars rounding that area, more volume of traffic is more dangerous. Honestly, for me, parking is a calculated endeavor on all equations. My wife likes to give me a "really, this far away" in which my retort is, "next time, we take you car and park wherever you want."
I even stay away from the badge snobs (Audi, BMW & Merc) as they are the only ones who matter (in thier own insular little world) & would use your car to rest thier handbag/briefcase etc. on the back of your car while they sort thier shit out, being careful not to damage their precious Euro trash.your right, it is a game of strategy, I try to park a little away from others, still got my rear door bumped the other day, gee I was mad.I don't park next to people movers because they normally have half a dozen kids that fly out off cars and aren't careful about " flying doors " I don't park next to old crappy looking ones because I think you don't care about your car , your'e certainly not going to care about mine.
