Sorry bro. Get a 2 channel (front/rear) dash cam. Have it hard wired with low battery protection unit. It will record in a “parking mode” activating on movement when main acc is cut off.

Sorry to see your Stinger damaged by a hit and run MALAKA, where were you parked when this happened ?

Hopefully you have full coverage insurance and can get this claimed without an increase in your coverage. But 100% does suck. I often park in areas I "know" will not have people parked beside me because I know the area and how busy they get, but inevitably people park right beside be just because, 7 empty closer spots they could have taken. No damage or dings yet, thank the lawd.

It was at a grocery store. I called and the cameras can’t pick up plate numbers.

People suck

As @Revvdmedia said, watch for places that nobody else want. The farthest away end stalls are a good place to increase your odds. In any case, find only places that have a stall on one side. And if the stall is not generously wide enough, take two!

I parked at the far end, nobody near me lol.

Seems like somebody cut through the lot and tagged me.

That's another thing: we can park away from the store, with no cars parked anywhere near, and yet if the place we park is beside a heavily frequented access, especially where vehicles turn, the risk is actually higher than if we nestled between two already parked vehicles. I try to deduce by the configuration of the parking area where the most traffic is, and then park far away from it.

I will concur that parking is a game of strategy. Open spots vs. Between a couple "nice" cars. Minivans are a variable because sliding doors mean no dings, but also mean kids with not spacial awareness and touchy fingers. And yes to corners being dangers with cars rounding that area, more volume of traffic is more dangerous. Honestly, for me, parking is a calculated endeavor on all equations. My wife likes to give me a "really, this far away" in which my retort is, "next time, we take you car and park wherever you want."

Same thing happened to my wife a few months ago, I hate these mongrels.
Feeling your pain man.

your right, it is a game of strategy, I try to park a little away from others, still got my rear door bumped the other day, gee I was mad.I don't park next to people movers because they normally have half a dozen kids that fly out off cars and aren't careful about " flying doors " I don't park next to old crappy looking ones because I think you don't care about your car , your'e certainly not going to care about mine. I try to park next to Audi's, BMW's etc because you know the owners like and take care of their car's so their not going to risk damaging it by doing something to yours.

I even stay away from the badge snobs (Audi, BMW & Merc) as they are the only ones who matter (in thier own insular little world) & would use your car to rest thier handbag/briefcase etc. on the back of your car while they sort thier shit out, being careful not to damage their precious Euro trash.

That's awful. Hopefully you find a way to catch the person that did it, but either way I hope you can get it fixed without too much trouble.

I never thought of that, now I will have to park in " no mans land " and walk a few kms to the shops, oh well might get fit in the process ;) and jeepers when I get my Stinger I'll have to take up two parking spaces and nick some traffic cones to surround my car with them and get one of those security camera's:thumbup:

Yep it’s getting to the point that when I need to go to the shops I’ll leave the car in the driveway & walk...lol

Yeah, I feel like that now days too. Cars are just too expensive now. I really need to get an old Berger for errands and leave the nice cars for commute to and from the office.

I’m hearing you, problem is I love driving my Stinger, just not the same doing it in anything else...that’s the point of owning this car it’s a joy to drive & own.
I hope you get yours repaired without too much delay.
