I found this comparison video interesting also because i didn't know until now the G70 has the same engine as in the Stinger , the V6TT.

It shares its platform with the Stinger much the same as the K900 with the G70's being shorter and the K900 being longer. The G70 though was crafted to be a sport sedan.

I think this is a great review all around , same DNA , designers , engineers etc.................. and corpoate cousins ...............as One raises the bar the other benefits , I personally still have a much stronger preference for the Stinger due to the rear hatch , rear room , overall "Look" , and design uniqueness ...................good for the G70 though !!

I agree, I like the roominess. I had passenges this weekend and they were impressed with the roominess in the back. The G70 is just too small for my needs. The stinger is much sexier looking IMO also.

One of them screaming and one with a heavy lisp. They certainly don't have voices for video/audio.

They are HYPER focused on the quilted leather (to me looks a bit overdone)...and the shiny looking plastic knobs. I sat in the back of a G70.. reminded me of trying to fit 10 lbs in a 5 lb bag.

The external styling of the Stinger is 5 levels above the G70... and the interior will only go so far to bridge that gap. Put some real car people behind the wheel and they will arguably say the same.

M3/4 vs G70 is appropriate but the Stinger is not in the same class - more like 5-series GT or Audi 5/6 series, and that's not a negative. Just built for a different purpose.

As long as BMW is in last, I approve of the video. BMW (outside of the M division) has become stale and boring.

These two aren't that bad until they get to the scripted stuff, that was cringy. The girl really needed to brush her hair though.

Size aside, you get more from the G70 than the Stinger, I'm disappointed the G70 is the same price as the Stinger. The Stinger is definitely better looking though.

I agree with all the above. The G70 just doesn't have any pizzaz styling-wise, and the Bimmer is a little long in the tooth, whereas the Stinger has the fresher styling.

And the girl is loud and has an annoying voice. Oh, and what's going on with her lips? lol

Being a ''3'' series fan,until the stinger, I was mesmerized with the bmw. I wanted one since my divorce lo these many years ago......but fortunately for me ,because of said divorce, I could never afford a bmw......Now the stinger not only looks better than either of them but has a better ''everything'' than the bimmer......Yeah patience is a virtue and my stinger has a home where a bmw would of been!

I used to own a 330xi, loved that car but it was falling apart. There isn't a current BMW, aside from the M models, that I would want to own over the Stinger, but....

Have you seen that new 2019 m340i? It's not an M series, it's that weird M spec inbetween they've started doing. That car is absolutely sick, the sound it makes will make you uncomfortable in the pants. I hope some tuner can figure out how to give the Stinger those cracks, pops, and burbles.
