This past weekend I had the pleasure of buying a new Blue AWD GT2 from Todd at Hendrick Kia. Todd was extremely knowledgeable about the Stinger and took my wife and I offsite to talk about the car and drive it around.

When it came to talk numbers he was able to run the numbers based off all 3 incentive paths (0%, Low APR + 2k, Lease rebates) and taking 2k additional off each offer. I ended up going with 0% to save the hassle of getting another loan. Who doesn't like free money?

The part that they really went above and beyond was when after we had done all the paperwork and the car was detailed, a few scratches were found on the rear passenger side door. Todd pointed it out and gave me 2 options. I could either have their body shop fix the damage free of charge or we could redo all the paperwork for another stinger they had on the lot. Luckily they had another identical Stinger available and I was able to roll out the same day in a scratch free Stinger.

That's a really great experience! Wish more folks in sales would be like this. Let's hope more people like this will be added to dealerships everywhere.

I checked out Hendrick's once, just to see how many Stingers they had. I was shocked when I drove behind their used car building, way on the back, to see the had over 20 Stingers sitting back there collecting dust. I was so surprised that I actually parked in front of a group of 8 or 9 Stingers for an impromptu photo shoot.

I fear you're one of only a handful of people that have purchased a Stinger from them.

Yeah definitely had a big inventory of Stingers and I was surprised they had 4 Blue GT2's when most places didn't even have 1. Todd mentioned they were the biggest Stinger dealer in the southeast by volume but I have no way to know if that claim is true or not

Doesn't seem likely. I've only seen one Stinger other than mine since I moved to RTP area in July, and that was 2 days ago in Morrisville.

taking 2k additional off

Frankly, If it was 2018 just 2k off MSRP is nothing when lots of dealers are offering more than 5k off.

If it was 2019 it was okay deal. I was able to get around 2.5k off on 2019 model before incentives at lelith kia.

I was just looking at a singer at Hendricks Kia yesterday. They were all very friendly but not sure if they are discounting the cars enough. Did they include all the Hendricks specific add-on (tint, fender guard, door guard, OCP) in your price? If you don't mind, what was your OTD cost?

My OTD price (including sales tax, and those extras) was $44,137

I believe the lease rebates the price quoted was around 38ish

I honestly didn't push too much about the price. I'm just really bad at negotiating car deals :(

Wow, that is a great price for the GT2 AWD with 0% APR. They are not going below 49000 with 0.9% APR x 72 months with 5000 down. Did they give you all the hendricks extra?

Looks like I misunderstood your first post (2k additional off), 44k otd without incentives seems like good price. 38k with lease rebate seems about right.

BTW I am living in Morrisville as well.

When I was looking for mine I spoke to them about a blue GT2 and that’s about what I was quoted, it was a pretty solid deal.

Battleground Kia also had a pretty solid offer.

Got both my Stingers from Hendrick, strong price compared to others. Took extra rebate money and refinanced with credit union over the phone driving off the lot lol.

What do you mean by strong? These guys offered me 1400 off of on last years GT1. Good thing you screwed those guys over.

They knocked about 13k off a GT2 with lease cash.... depends on which car.

$12,800 off with Kia finance, which was like 6%, way to high but refinanced same day.

That's very good. They wouldn't budge of MSRP when I was there. I tried GT2 as well.

Sometimes they deal sometimes not. I bought a lot of cars from Hendrick group, most times I don’t is cause they just wouldn’t deal and a trip across town found a deal. The company is weird sometimes it seems.

Wow, don't know why they didn't offer me similar deal. Would have went for even lower discount at that time.

Depending when you went maybe inventory was tight. I think they where holding on them cause of demand. Demand isn’t as strong since it’s still a $50k car so lots of younger people can’t get even tho they want. Best deal is a lease they said so I’m guessing Kia is trying to get the cars to market and turned in for the resale. In three years our cars are gonna be worth good money, demand will be even higher!
